This occurs during the "Settle Lyris' regret" portion of the quest.
Half of the time, Lyris will remain at the entrance.
Gjalder does not appear but will still engage with Lyris.
You can't see/damage him and he can't damage you.
Inactivity, opening menu, reloading UI and reporting bug all resulted in instant drain of all health/magicka/stamina (death)
Since you're not on Nirn (no wayshrines) you can't escape this area. My only way out was joining PVP
My armor was 100% coming into this zone. Below 50% now (despite having never actually taken damage)
