Pets and new scribing abilities bugged?

Just looking to report a potential bug. Testing the new Soul scribe ability as a source of minor courage in raiding groups. It appears pets from both sorc and cro can catch these buffs.
The new abilities seem to target up to 6. We have used both the shielding and healing options and seen similar results. Pets are taking procs away from the groups so not only are we missing the minor courage we are also missing the potential healing and shielding on these players.
Here is an example setup of our scribe.
Here is a snippet of esologs showing the affected targetting. I have hand verified multiple examples but just going to include 1. This was done on boss 1 just to do an even split for consistency. The side without a sorc has perfect targetting and the side with a sorc 2 people miss due to pets catching the shields.
I know in the past pets catching buffs like this was typically considered a bug (thinking of powerful assault and pillagers targetting issues in the past.)
