There's a little interaction:

In Dawnwood, you can save a dog from a couple of stranglers and YOU CAN PET THE DOG!

I went from "what the heck is happening here" to so happy. Just wanted to say thanks for this.

Good thing I'm a chronic screenshotter and saved it with minimap up xD (did it some days ago)

This time there was a different interaction there; funny. I'd guess it's like the ones in Telvanni Peninsula that change and reappear.
