Ok Admittedly this is a "for the minority" post!

But I required a lot of help for the Scribing Quest lines , especially the bit with the fox sniffing around. the whole thing is basically invisible to me, and took multiple attempts and then another to complete it for me.

a lot of the use of the scope, again the big bits I kind of see, but the little bits are invisible and impossible for me.

It has been the Bain of my life since the Arcanist came along, The Green Lights after a while feel like vinegar and lemon juice have been poured into my eyes , Yes Physical PAIN, but not a lot i can do about it. Same with cradle of filth (I think) the underground dungeon, Severe Eye strain, followed by Blinding Light, followed by a serious Migraine and physical vomiting.

Small but minor problems on the whole, but still problems never the less.

I understand that people without medical injuries / problems will just say "Just stop Playing the game! Problem solved", Well lets just hope you end up the same way and see how you deal with life in general!

The game has become very important to me both as a way of wasting time / Keeping myself sane, and as a Social Platform. Obviously as my blindness progresses, general day to day life is getting more "interesting" . My problems followed messed up eye surgery , go in to have a Problem Sorted come out with many many more!

It would be an appreciated help, if the Arcanist Bits could be say RED instead of the bright Green, Cradle of Filth , well that's just an avoid!

I have said in previous posts that as well as eye problems I have Physical Injuries, and reduced movement. So the Scribing I have been looking forward to to see if it would help with the inability to do anything other than Heavy Attack, Still waiting on finding out if that's going to help , but hoping!

One thing that would help, but it is as far as I am aware against the "terms of service" , would be to allow Disabled people to be allowed to use Macros , a single button for the Rotations, I know, not going to happen, as Normal People would see the advantage and then abuse it!

Just wanting to make the point here, that there are people with disabilities that do enjoy playing then game , and they DO require Help, or at least would appreciate help, as its a large part of our surviving the day after day after day.

LOL, the Arcanist problem , did not exist before the arcanist , you could adjust the contrast / Brightness etc, to "mod" the game for use, but now, its throughout the game, I could not even have got around it by NOT BUYING the CHAPTER , so lots of this is out of my control.

But So Far, I am Liking the new stuff in the majority!

    Possible Suggestion!

Long time Ago, I wrote a Little MOD for Fallout, that Highlighted items I had to find! Made the game a lot easier to play, in ESO you can have the Harvest Node Light up and with the Scrying So do Chests....

Would it not be possible for the Quest Items to do the same for Visually impaired people, and it would not required a Lot of Coding to insert it in...

I would not be against this suggestion. In fact, I think it's a great idea. I tend to lose track of quest items and locations very easily, albeit not due to disability. Maybe for quest items it should be made into a setting rather than a skill.

    I’m strongly FOR both sides.
For having minimal HUD, less “hand holding”, more “immersion”…
And also for more “QoL”, ease of use, guidance, convenience, accessibility…
As long as any and all of these additions are optional. Settings we can freely toggle as we please. And these options should absolutely be added to the game.

On PC If you use nvidia card you can have coloring overlay under alt+f3 by default to ease some issues, but colorblind mode is pretty much a standard accessibility option in most games nowadays so it would be great ESO had one by default.

This is my thought too, if computers/consoles don’t already have color options (saturation slider and colorblind modes) then ESO should add one. I’m curious to know if that’d help with the arcanist problem.

Using an AMD 7900XTX, But might give it a try, never thought of that, thanks!

The "Light" problem happened after surgery when the lenses were replaced with the wrong Size , since the edges are to short they act like mirrors reflecting light across them, rather than through them. add to this the inside of my eyeballs are collapsing so Multiple floaters (ears, spiders, cockroaches, and a male appendage) constantly floating across my vision. and just for that extra pain in the ass, Occular folds,
the back of my eyes are all ridges so "_______________" looks like "~_~~-~-~~__--~~_-~~--__~~~", except a lot Worse!!! multiples and nothing is straight, vertical or horizontal

the light is as well as being amplified by the lens mess up, Green is like a halogen lamp straight in the eyes, Yellow Not so Bad, white is hell, Blue is invisible and red is Black

its also all out of focus and fine line art looks like a picaso pizza...

apart from that they are fine!!!

I used to have the same issue in WGT when it came out. Vet was a nightmare for me back then because I couldn't really discern the white portals spawning in a monochrome screen when so many abilities were going off at the same time. It was basically all one big low contrast muck for me.. took a long time to adjust to that, but yeah a high contrast mode would have helped immensely.

same with Arcanist and the Cradle of Shadows stuff,
sadly another Spider dungeon has issues Spindleclutch 1 has a spider and spider daedra that both have white light flashes during their fights.

There are definitely disorienting flashes even for typical vision such as the Nahvi flash in execute that ZoS can tone down. They could also give a slider for how bold or clear a tab targeted enemy is to help those that struggle with visual movement tracking. They already do this for AOEs.

For color styles and brightness in general of common less extreme events like Arc skills, it is likely most helpful (or at least additively helpful) to tailor the visual output per individual across all gaming experiences. For that video card and monitor settings is the best place to go as you only have to learn a menu system once and it covers all games. Plus the detail level to adjust output that Nvidia/Radeon/Intel offer is more than that what any game will (or can) offer. Search your given visual processing way of being and the company of your graphics driver above and you will find walkthroughs and details.

I dont even know if its possible and it might be messy but what about adding a "color wheel" to the accessability area so people can change the "hue" of the animations themselves from that "color wheel"?

Massive agree on this, this is one of those “this is objectively better for everyone” suggestions. The white flashes are just unnecessary, they hurt my eyes and I play in a lit room and don’t have any abnormal light sensitivity. The tab targetting outline color change + thickness change is something I wanted for tank QOL when I was doing HoF weekly because it gets really hard to see what boss you’re about to taunt sometimes.
