We need a May event.

I was thinking they should reserve a Whitestrakes Mayhem for that month. You don't need any new motifs or items, just give double AP and tevar and the same extra Pelinal Boon Boxes from earlier in the year (First week of January, straight after the New Life Festival).

    We need fewer events. While they're each nice in their own ways, they have disadvantages, such as increasing server load, and exploiting our FOMO.

    If you are basing this thread on last year's Mayhem being in May and then another one post-Necrom, it was only moved because of the server upgrades that were scheduled to be earlier in the year.

    Having a breather between major events may be better for most players, so that they wouldn't be feeling burned out all the time.

    Based on the events tested thus far on PTS, the next event will not be until the patch releases for all servers.

    There are tests set for both MYM and ZOZ, so the end of June/beginning of July event will be one or the other, and the other will probably follow around the end of July/beginning of August

    (note that they could still have one of the surprise mini-events like an Explorer's Celebration, but the next ticket event will not be until console gets Gold Road)

    From a mostly solo PvE (I can't handle PUGs) and weekly PvP player (Friday night Cyro). This has been the last years events for me.

    Anniversary Event: Strictly daily writs on two characters and cake eating only. Hahaha, that gold page drop rate isn't worth it.
    Jesters Festival: One quest daily.
    Whitestrakes: Here we goooooo! Played a lot of Cyro during Whitestrakes.
    Crafters Celebration: Mini event, mostly skipped.
    Guilds and Glory: Awesome event. Did all dailies on one character daily. Got all stuffs.
    New Life: One quest daily.
    Gates of Oblivion: Awesome event. Did all dailies on one character daily. Got all stuffs.
    Witches Festival: One quest daily
    Secrets of Telvanni: Two quests daily on one character. Spent my time clearing the zone collecting rewards along the way, which I was doing anyway.
    Undaunted: one dungeon daily.
    Zeal of Zenithar: Daily writs on one character.
    Whitestrakes: Here we goooooo! Played a lot of Cyro during Whitestrakes.

    That's 12 events, I've only spent longer ingame doing something than I usually would during 4 of them. I got all event ticket rewards last year, I've used none of the rewards I got for them. Just collecting indriks this year as mini molag, the tattoos and that awful personality appeal to me as much as American Football bear, which i never ended up using once.

    Events in ESO are fantastic as they're so easily skip-able. You really don't need all those event tickets, 95% of gold style pages you'll unlock and never use. It's nothing like those god awful Korean MMOs where if you don't turn up to every event your character will plummet far behind in CP/Power/Whatever and never catch up.

    For everyone that says "but ZoS make FOMO," honestly, look at the event rewards. Are they worth getting FOMO for? Are you honestly telling me that a staff skin you're never going to use is worth 10+ hours of farming something you don't enjoy? Bah.

    I wouldn't mind some mini events between the big events. Mini events should be ones which you can freely ignore without FOMO e.g. no tickets, new motifs, pets or fragments. Maybe just a chance to get some items that have dropped in older events in the Old Boxes while rewarding you with a few extra things.

    Bahahaha "American football bear", that cracked me up.

    Still, I've actually loved farming boxes for the jubilee. Managed to get 6 aetherial dusts alone, not to mention I've almost completed collecting all the motifs. Definitely my favorite event.

    Still, yeah, I think a short break would be nice. I'd like to focus on collecting sets, getting my new Warden Healer geared out, and doing more trials, and it's difficult to do those things when there's an event going on because of the FOMO on event rewards.

    I'd rather not. As much as I enjoy the events, they really pack them in around this time of year and I'd like to be able to actually play the game instead of chasing boxes and new style pages and anything else. I'm the type who would rather earn things on their own than buy them, so it kind of attacks my playstyle a bit when I have to go out and earn boxes to have a chance at the new stuff. This isn't so bad with events that have "bags of yesteryear" but not all do, and I'm loathe to use traders for a thing I can get myself.

    So, yeah, let me have some time to actually play through the story for a while, please.

    How about an event in which we don't worry about tickets, just do what we normally do, don't grind for countless hours and, *knocks on wood*, don't get a portion of the player base locked out of the game?

    I'd like 2-3 weeks of quiet (and inventory management), but I think a mini event after would be nice after that. Nothing with FOMO or RNG though. Something with extra endeavor seals or some kind of currency. Double transmutes/archival fortunes for the dailies would be nice, for example.

    Same here, I would appreciate a break with events. Events are nice, but with the massive population is increase, it also causes all sort of co-lateral annoyances. Nothing too bad, but still, once it's over, I enjoy the quietness... o:)

    How about an event that just works as advertised? I can't recall any issues with the Undaunted or Mayhem events, but otherwise:-

    Crafters Event - one of the advertised features was disabled a few hours after it started;
    Guilds & Glory oops! Gates of Oblivion - was going to be cut short due to (poorly) 'planned maintenance' and had to be extended after player complaints;
    New Life - also extended after player complaints, as original duration was shorter than usual;
    Secrets of the Telvanni - apparently a large segment of the player base was unaware there was a voting system for the furnishings or how to vote.

    Honestly, next event should be in july now that i think about it. Give us a break in may, then june is Gold Road, so that can take up the month with new content; quests, scribing, antiquitiys, tales of tribute etc. Then give us something in july.

    Gotta agree with everyone saying no to this and I think ZO were sensible to back off from their accursed near constant events.

    Double xp and some of the other rewards are nice but I'm returning after a long absence and just discovering arcanist which is awesome.

    Love the look of scribing and styling.

    Just getting through the content I hadn't played and to reach the end of Markarth for its darkstorm emerald dye for my arcanists was a proper slog.

    Not for it being bad but just for there being so much. And that was skipping all side content (except for Necrom / Apocrypha which I did first) which I'd like to go back and play.

    Still leaving me with a few more years worth of content to catch up on before Gold Road.
