No QoL adjustments to Grave Lord's Sacrifice is quite silly

That's all. No one is using this skill. What happened to "We'll be keeping an eye on this and adjusting it in the future?"

Pretty solid changes throughout the patch notes, but why not address this skill when it's pretty clear nearly every necro player swapped to the other morph because of how clunky it is?

It's a self buff. It shouldn't be restricted to casting in combat only. It also shouldn't be able to get stunned, nor should it be delayed, nor should you be able to line of sight your own buff.

I don’t think we will see many class changes for the rest of the year. I think they’ve deemed Quarter 1 to be where major stuff happens so probably 2025

My point is, when pushing a clearly unfinished skill to live, they explicitly stated in the patch notes that they'd be keeping an eye on it and making adjustments. So.... where are the adjustments?

Appreciate the tether buff, but necro needs more

I think the reality is, this update was far too much into development during the previous PTS, so any balance change requirement from U41 is not being addressed at least until U43/U44. Eg. Sorc's shields, Necro's GLS, NB's Siphoning Attacks, all problematic.
    PC Beta - 2200+ CP

Stam Sorc Khajiit PvE/PVP Main || Stam Sorc Dark Elf PvP ||
Stam Templar Dark Elf || Stam Warden Wood Elf || Stam DK Nord || Stam Necro Orc || Stam Blade Khajiit

Mag Sorc High Elf || Mag Templar High Elf || Mag Warden Breton || Mag Necro Khajiit || Mag Blade Khajiit

There are dozens of skills that are not used and basically useless, I don’t see how you expected them to change Gravelord‘s Sacrifice just weeks after they’ve implemented the new version. I‘d rather want them to tackle all the other skills that are unused for years. And as others have said, there might have been an overlap between the development of U42 and U41 when it comes to skills. Pretty sure they want some more time to observe GLS before they’re making more changes to it.

Sure, but you should never knock these types of buffs. You never know what other changes down the line will make them fall into place.

For example, if they give another way to allow self-corpses (or buff the class set), now Necro has 2 extremely powerful and free abilities.

The problem is there's nothing to observe because practically no one is using the skill due to how clunky it is. The skill's values aren't even weak, it's just the fact that the skill hardly functions when you need it to.

You'll probably see major changes in Q3

I believe they said on the stream that necro class grimoire will create a corpse on use. Not exactly self-corpse but useful addition.

Yet again massively disappointed with ZoS. ‘We’re gonna do some light touches to classes’ when two of them are massively underperforming. Yet again just have to wait 6 months and pray that they buff templar and necromancer. Absolutely embarrassing ZoS cant balance classes.

I‘m not sure if I understand the Necromancer class script correctly. This is it:

Once every 3 seconds, increase your Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 2% for 10 seconds for each corpse within 12 meters, up to a max of 10. If no corpses are nearby, create a corpse.

Does this mean it’s generating a corpse every 3 seconds when no other corpse is around? It‘s hard for me to imagine how this works at the moment.

You should knock it when it makes no sense. The problem with siphon is that most fights i encounter in PvP and PvE are never stationary, so it has no use for me. The restoring tether buff looks nice on paper, but am i really going to slot it over mender or vigor? You said it, my magcro is now a hybrid because i run blighted and using vigor over mortal coil makes more sense to me. They dont have a good track record with the overwhelming negative feedback GLS got, and now no adjustments this patch? I have zero confidence in their ability to fix real issues with necro. They designed this class to perform well only on parse dummies and gave it a mechanic and skills that are counteractive to one another. They'll just keep trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

    NO! I will never stop.

Just because my child goes through a rough time period/phase, doesn't mean I abandon them when times are tough.

    Necromancer is my baby
