PTS Update 42 - Feedback Thread for Health Bars

This is the official feedback thread for healing immunity now displaying on health bars. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:

• Did everything look the way you expected?
• Was there anything that didn’t work properly?
• If you play with addons (and they function on the PTS), is there any feedback you’d like to provide about the interactions of these changes with your setup?
• Do you have any other general feedback?

I was a big fan of using the 3d floating health bars and I always wished there was a way to customize them or have them display more important info.

Very good additions, for the shield gains and the trauma. However, having very large amounts of shield can make it so that the bars look way too large on the screen. I think it would be better if the shield value is contained within the bar length, even if it could overlap the HP bar.

Is it possible to keep the health bar on the nameplate as it is on live? Trials (especially the latest ones) contain a lot of oblivion damage, but with new health bar other players can't know your health is reduced when shields are present. Even if you have very low health you will only be shown as full shield to other players. This is a huge hindrance to healers.




Apologies for the delay in giving feedback at this time, as this thread has been so sparsely replied to that I was previously unaware of its existence. But I still hope dev will seriously consider the possibility of leaving the nameplate health bar as it is before Gold Road goes live

This might not be what you are looking for, but it would help a lot if damage shields would also be shown with their values on vanilla HP bars. So far, this has only been possible with mods.

It's good to see that you endeavor to improve vanilla combat informations such as these.
