Any other hidden dialogue?

Hi!

I like hidden gems dialogue. I know that Mel Adrys gives you one extra dialogue option if you're character is a vampire, and there's this hilarious one with 'Clivia Tharn' (at least, it made me laugh) that's only available while you are emperor (former emperor gives you another unique one). Otherwise I don't seem to find a lot of hidden/secret dialoge in ESO. Did anyone here find anything that's maybe interesting enough to share?

This is the 'Clivia Tharn' one in WGT:

There are tons of dialog options in most DLCs (as well as the base game).

For example, if you start in Bleakrock and ask Rana about Argonians while being an Argonian.

Other examples include being a female character while completing the quest surrounding the Mabrigash Ashlanders in Deshaan or asking some Khajiit about Khajiit while being a Khajiit.

One of the quest NPCs in Moonhunter Keep will have a different option after completing the dungeon, if you're a Werewolf, etc.

Also gameplay differences in some instances: I'm pretty sure in the Greymoor prologue you're able to see/skip a few things, if you're a vampire.

Just keep in mind they don't have the same variety everywhere, because I guess it would be simply too costly to do VO recordings for all those lines all over the place.

I'll also miss my most favorite quest option that's sadly no longer in the game (since the quest got replaced):

The original quest line for free homes had you hunt down a former tenant to obtain their papers. Said tenant hid in one of the outlaw refuges and demanded a specific task from you (I think you had to get something from somewhere else). At the end of the dialog, you'd have an option like "Okay, I'll do it." However, if you previously completed the Dark Brotherhood quest line (or at least joined them, I don't know), there was an extra option "<Remain silent.>" which would make the guy – a very muscular/bulky man of an Orc! – absolutely freak out, start stuttering, and then immediately handing over the papers, skipping all the busywork.

Wood elf clothier in mournhold. If you're a wood elf says something about "glad to see another wood elf out here".

This one sounds hilarious, too bad they removed it...

Before entering room with the dark heart (under Nighthollow keep) you can ask Verandis if the heart can free you from the hunger for blood (if your character is a vampire)

I was just about to mention this one.

The vampire hunter in the Gold Coast delve quest will likewise note he knows you're a vampire, but isn't hunting you (yet) because you do more good than harm.

Niralin from the Archon's Grove delve quest in Summerset will comment on whether you're a werewolf or not, saying one of the following:
    • "You smell like one of them, but ... different. You're a werewolf, but not of this pack. I'm not sure how I know that, but I just do."
    • "Wait, you're not one of the pack. Why, you're not even a werewolf."
...and then proceed with her regular dialogue, stating that it's too dangerous there and that the player character needs to leave.

One of the NPCs in the Clockwork City main quest will acknowledge your Khajiiti characters:

So many lines of call lots of hidden lines of dialogue in all expansions and DLCs if you complete them in order. Cadwell and Tharn recall your adventures in Elswyr. Lyris and the Ravenwatch scooby gang in Markarth and Greyhost. Just everyone High Isle.

Necrom is fantastic for making my character feel like she's been around, fighting like a hero for years with all the extra dialogues. Naryu and Ashur, with a comment on Veya. Magistar Gothren recalling the ambitious Argonian. Being spotted as a hero of Clockwork City on the Sotha-Sil quest. Meeting Hezehk, that little weirdo, in Apocrypha. Of course he's bouncing about daedric realms. Vermina remembered me from Stormhaven (as she ruddy well should). Pretty sure Hermie did too, which is good or he'd be a rubbish remberer-of-things.

Being a quest completionist and doing everything in order has unlocked so many little extra lines of dialogue for me. Very happy I stuck with one character through out for all the questing.

If you defeated Magistrix Vox and you return to Saint Veloth at the Shrine of Saint Veloth, he will have race specific dialogue. If you're a Dark Elf he will say "Your Dunmer blood proved true. Vox is defeated, order is restored. Well done.". Otherwise, if your character is from a different race, he will literally say you're a credit to your own people.

In Stonefalls when you do the quest A Bit of Sport, if you're a Dark Elf, the Nord quest-giver will assume you're here to complain to the Nords about the Daggerfall Covenant and you should hide behind your mother's skirt. If you're from a different race, he will be more vocal and critical of the Dark Elves and refer the city of Ebonheart as a "gods-forsaken Dark Elf dung hole".

At Fort Arand if you backtrack to Captain Llaari during The Venom of Ahknara after single time you complete a certain stage in the quest, she will have comments on your progress and hoping you get rid of the Daggerfall infiltrators soon.

I like the extra lines of dialogue as well, especially before you turn in certain quests, the npc that gives you the reward will have some interesting tidbits to say.

The old housing quest must have varied depending on which zone you were doing it in, because IIRC the NPC in Vvardenfell was a female Orc, not a male Orc. I don't know about any special dialog, though, as I wasn't in the Dark Brotherhoid yet when I did the quest.
