Application is crashing after new patch - unable to even launch game

It's very disconcerting that after waiting for 14.5 hours to get back into game that the application is now crashing when I press play on the launcher. It took an over night DL to get the game and I was able to play fine yesterday but today's patch has completely fubarred the application and it will not launch. I have done a complete PC reboot and still it will not launch.

Please assist. This is really making me unhappy as I took the day off in the hopes of being able to play during early access.

And lo and behold IF YOU SHUT OFF YOUR ANTIVIRUS AND FIREWALL IT WORKS... not cool. Fix ASAP.
