How do we get the "Cake Devourer" achievements under Holiday Events/Anniversary Jubilee?

Under Achievements, Holiday Events, Anniversary Jubilee there is a "Cake Devourer" achievement that requires us to "Acquire a slice of cake from every Jubilee Cake." There are then seven sub-achievements to "Acquire a cake slice" from the cakes for the following years: (1) 2016-2018; (2) 2019; (3) 2020; (4) 2021; (5) 2022; (6) 2023; and (7) 2024. I have the "memento" cakes from all years between 2016 and 2023. I spawned the cakes, took a bite, but did not get achievement credit.
How do we go about getting the achievements?
Will these achievements only unlock during the 2024 anniversary event? (Hoping someone played 10th anniversary event on pts.)

Just acquiring the slices causes the achievement to pop. You need 7 total tickets to get each slice. They act as interactable furnishings after the fact, but using them does nothing.

Buy slice for 1 ticket - get achievement for that slice
Get all slices - get Cake Devourer achievement

Total investment - 7 tickets (three days out of the 20 available)

I have cakes from 2018 forward - unfortunately I didn't start playing until late 2017. S'okay though, I don't care about achievements in any case - I just want the other cakes I missed out on.

its possible it could be related to a new holiday quest for the anniversary thats not available yet

not like you can even complete the achievement anyway since it requires using the 2024 cake, which isnt even available yet

achievements have never been tied to something obtainable from event tickets before

so i would have to assume it would be from some new quest that might be to acquire the cake slices or something

yea Jester's Festival is first and then Jubilee starts immediately after.
and yea with Jubilee Quarter 2 starts and that does also mean that the indriks change

Well, I'd rather play Jester's for the tickets, but if it's going to be too close a squeak I'll just buy them. Dawnwood is the last one I want, not interested in waiting another year.

the game has been very against "pay 2 win" stuff, and literally spending a currency you can pay crowns for just to get an achievement would fall under that

While I understand what you are trying to say, this achievement is completely optional and does not affect anything. I do not see any "pay to win" here and there is nothing to win in this case. I'm glad that they introduced new furnishings and will buy them for tickets as I always do with cakes.

i know it doesnt affect anything, but still not something they have ever done before, not to mention the ones for tickets clearly state "replica" which means those are not the actual cake slices that we earn either, so the implication that we would have to spend tickets on them to get the achievement is off to begin with

Yeah, I think I am going to be really salty if the achievements require either paying to get them or require you to have a cake from that year, barring anyone from ever getting 100% achievement progress again if they started playing after or missed a year.

You can eat cake summoned by other people sometimes. Hopefully they turn that feature on again.

For clarification, you get the achievements by buying the cake slices fromthe impressario, and yes, I did it on PTS.

Agreed. And we’ll have to see if we can purchase slices if you don’t have the associated cake (because I know you can’t buy the furnishing if you don’t have the memento).

Agreed. And we’ll have to see if we can purchase slices if you don’t have the associated cake (because I know you can’t buy the furnishing if you don’t have the memento).

my huge concern though is if there is no way to get them outside of buying them with tickets

Thanks for bringing this up! I just noticed it listed in my holiday achievements and I'm like, but I've been consuming the cake for about 4-5 years now, so why is this grayed out? Now I know.

If they are offering "replica" cakes from preceding years and slices (which are new), I could totally see them only offered through the Impresario during the Anniversary event, that would make sense.

I could be wrong but I have a feeling that being "replicas" might mean maybe if they are furnishings that they don't light up like the originals do? Guess we will see... but if so that would do two things...

1) give those that were begging for them to have as furnishings the cakes they didn't have, and
2) respect those that were playing during the past events and have the originals stay just a little bit different by lighting up.

The slices look cool though. I'm hoping they are furnishings as well.

You're in luck! The slices do indeed light up like the full cakes.

I’m wondering why one slice represents 2016, 2017, & 2018? Why didn’t they just call it “Replica Jubilee Cake Slice 2018” and just not go back any further?
