After a very lengthy guild discussion, approximately three minutes between two people, it has been determined that Quistley Silvelle was actually adopted by his current parents.

From this day forward let him be known by his newly discovered lineage as Quistley Laurent Dres, Tamriel's official love child.

    I would genuinely love to see characters like him, as well as the other prominent characters in other Companion questlines, return at some point. It would be really cool to see how much has changed since the last time we and our relevant Companion have seen them.

    Maybe it'd be possible to have those characters from different Companion questlines interact with one another, talking about their experience with us. Maybe at some point they'll talk about the person in their lives who travels with us, and realize that our player character has managed to make close friends with those people.

    He's an important character in Bastian Hallix's questline. You initially meet him on the first quest to unlock Bastian as a Companion, but he returns throughout Bastian's Companion questline, which is unlocked given enough positive rapport with Bastian.

      If ESO added Dragon age style parties, my dream party is Eveli Sharp Arrow, Rigurt the Brash, and Quistley Silvelle. The party banter would be hilarious.

      I would do this just to get Quistley into as many embarrassing situations as possible and watch the chaos ensue.

      It probably wouldn’t work as well for you as for me, since I am in a major city metro area. It could still help, though. Having someone to keep the boss busy while you do the dps is a game-changer for me.

      Just turn them down to “infrequent” and they don’t ever say much. I use Bastian because his DK skills are better for tanking, but I actually like him. I tried Isobel as a tank but she just doesn’t last as long and dies more often.

      Opinions vary but to me of all the companions - and I have collected them all and listened to their banter enough to form my own personal opinions and likes/dislikes - Sharp-as-Night the Argonian from the Necrom chapter might be most to your liking? He’s a Warden, no nonsense, dislikes waste such as destroying what could be sold or putting him through the frivolity of an outfit station. Enjoys alchemy, fishing, preparing for battle with food or drink. Dislikes paying off fines to guards. Think that hits all the major points. He’s pretty chill and laid-back overall and his banter comes off, to me, as rather non-annoying and unobtrusive. And he’s voiced by Garrus from Mass Effect, which is a cool, calm, and collected timbre and demeanor.
