Nope, and fairly certain when I get there, CP3.0 will drop and extend the cap to 14,400 just like when I hit 810 and the cap was suddenly multiplied by 4.

Hah, that makes me remember my grind back in the day before the max cap became 3600. I'd grind close to the current CP cap, and then next update it'd be increased by, what was it, 120? Then I'd get close to max again, and oop, up another 120, repeat until finally it was capped to 3600. That was fun

    Yes, I have 3,600k CP
I don't think the ZOS should necessarily revamp the CP system in such a manner to give 3k+ players an advantage.
But why not link some Achievements and rewards with milestone CP.

CP 2400 "Middle Aged" Title and a unique grey haired pony mount.
CP 3000 "Almost Retired" Title and a small country house with a large lawn.
CP3600 "So Tired" Title with an older person's outfit (Pants with suspenders that are too long, shirt too large).

Hahaha this genuinely made me laugh mate. Some days "So Tired" is exactly it.
Some days I login do endeavors and logout. Other days I'll be on so long my legs fall asleep lol. I'm sure once I finish these next 2 accts to max I'll stop..but I did say that after the 3rd so god only knows at this stage.
Still having fun most of the time so that's all that counts.

I agree as others there should be additional rewards associated with getting more CP so there's a reason to gain exp. Extra bank space & more slotables for example.

There are people who have achieved it, I've seen them in random dungeon queues. I however am not one of those, I play too many games so I'm sitting at mvfjeydkrfsw.png

What's the point of 3600 besides bragging rights? You can only use 1560. I never change them because I forget to change them back.

I play a lot and I'm only 2300. I just want to reach 3600 so I can stop seeing that I have CP not assigned yet. I just toss them wherever now about every 30 levels or so just because they are there.

This is the problem. There should be some form of akivement and reward for players that invested so much in the game.

Ts at the point cp feel like an unfinished system.

I agree that giving an advantage in combat is a problem but for an akivement requiring 10 years to complete some form of amazing reward is due.

Maybe letting 3600 cp have the eso + bag or something as amazing as that.
Those who achieve 3600cp should get permanent craft bag without eso plus. or just in general give them free eso plus

I second this. A 10 year akivement deserve an amazing reward.

Is absurd ZOS is literally ignoring this akivement.

I'm only on about 1300+ CP, and have already reached the point where I only spend the CP occasionally, because any CP I spend at this point don't make a lot of difference.

it still matters to about 1800 when you can have all the non-equippable passives maxed out.

    Here's my suggested reward:

Once you hit 3600, if your character dies:
    • it's forever. No resurrection.
    • All the items you carry are deconned or sold.
    • You get a mail with your cash
    • You get a second mail with a 'game over' message.

    No, I'm at 2,103.

I get approximately 50 or so CP per companion when new companions release and I max out all their weapon lines.

I don't think reaching 3600cp necessarily means you've been playing a really long time. I've played since Beta and I'm only low 2000s. Reaching 3600 is probably more of an indicater of how much time you spend grinding vs just enjoying the content.

Pretty sure it’s extremely unlikely someone who hasn’t played a long time get to 3600cp. Not impossible but unlikely. If someone is at that number it’s safe to assume they have been playing for quite awhile.

leveling gets harder with each cp level, though not like exponentially, but compare the exp from 1200 for instance to cp300-600, etc. way different than just addition of say 1701+1800

At 3510 you need 1265000 XP to level up

Nah, I was already 2000+ CP from leveling past CP800 prior to cap increase. I use xp scrolls on occasion (since I have hundreds of them) to do bulk master writ turnins during some of the xp events. I don't really go out of my way to try to get 3600 though since I already have most of what I need/want. The only thing I could think of needing is support CP's for DPS and vice versa for armory to cover all roles better. I am currently sitting at 3087, with the xp event coming up I will probably do a writ turn in again and get some more levels but not a real goal or anything.

Currently 2300 no plans to push I prefer to just gain the xp passively. If and when zos decides to add more reasoning to grind cp I will probably farm until then I'm good.

I've played basically every day or week since launch and I'm only at 1600.

    Farming mats
    Crafting dailies
    Crafting furniture
    Buying selling trading
    Decorating
    Fishing
    Questing
    Role playing

Literally everything I do does not give me experience
    .
If it did I'd be max level but nope.

Now when people look at me they think I'm a mid level player and not an endgamer

im up to almost 2700 now, but im not actively going out of my way to farm xp

i dont even use xp scrolls most of the time because i dont have a reason to level fast as im already well past the point where you have all passives +4 slottables for each maxed

i hardly look at the cp on my characters at all unless im completely overhauling a characters build and need to slot cp differently

I am at around 2600 now, but i stopped caring after like 1500cp. I hope there will be a day, where leveling would be rewarding again, so there is some motivation for it. (CP changes, motifs, mounts or QOL changes)

Once you cross the threshold of ~1600-1800 CP, which mostly means enough points to be swapping out active perks on the fly, the rest is bragging rights. A flashy super-cool mount isn't going to incentivize me to grind out the ~1.8 billion more XP I'd need to get there from where I am.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I'm at 1850 or so and don't really care. I have enough CP for everything I need/want, so it doesn't matter anymore. Do I want an incentive or reward? No. If they add one, fine with me, then I'll get it in years eventually, but I won't fervently grind xp to get randomsuperspecialreward#50. Especially since it's probably another skin that makes you look like a broken pot or maybe a glowing gummy bear.

I’m at 2459 (PVE) and it is getting boring doing the Daily Grinds every day, same old thing for the same old character. I’ve been grinding for about 4 years now, maybe 5 years, and it seems it will take another four or five years or more for me to reach 3600 cp. To me that is not acceptable.

Why only PVE … that’s for a different post.

I understand that I can change to a new character at any time, but part of the “End Game” for any game is usually a maxed-out character level. I see there are players who say they don’t care, which I’m sure is true but chances are if their character is at maximum level they would be happier.

It’s great that everyone has so many choices in the CP System Tree, but you can only choose 4 in each Celestial Body Tree Bar. Since you can only choose 4 Perks at a time, you don’t need more than 12 Total. Also, in the Celestial Tree you can only choose any four at any given time. It’ll cost coins but they can be changed.

I don’t think they actually needed to change the Cap from 800 CP at all, but adding the larger Tree was a good idea.
With that said I think the “Level CAP.” should be lowered to something like 2000 CP if not down to 1500 CP, with the levels being easier to achieve. 4 years or longer ridiculous.

I believe players will be happier to be playing as other Characters and/or Classes, because the leveling portion of end game (accomplishment) will be completed knowing that that the new character will also be able to get to max level, even though the daily grinds are the same.

I honestly don't understand why people treat 3600 CP as some kind of goal to reach, except maybe for OCD reasons. Your build is complete over a thousand CP before that, with room to spare, all that follows is quality of life so you don't have to reassign points. You basically get all the advantages of a maxed-out build without the disdvantages of being max level, namely wasting perfectly fine XP because they don't do anything anymore.
I hate it when I reach the maximum level in an RPG. It's nice to get the important skills before that, but blowing XP into the ether is just bad game design.

    Have 72 levels to go.

Probably reach the cap during the witches festival, stockpiled a mix of 2000 enchanting and provisioning master writs.

Plan to have one of each class max out all their active skills and both of their morphs for every skill line other than the alliance war one.

Mostly due to hybridisation making a lot of skills I never bothered with potentially viable to experiment with different builds, after I have done that I will run out the left over master writs on my main.

Other than new companions, classes and skill lines that should be the last significant chunk of grinding I will do in ESO. My other 13 alts will be used for storage and possibly daily writs should I run low on funds.
