Issues with Daily Login Reward Day 2 For Orsinium DLC

I had been able to claim the reward in three out of four instances (two accounts, both servers) through porting shenanigans yesterday, so the only thing left was PC/EU on my Epic account, and that worked without any problems today Thank you for managing to resolve it!

Yep, we totally get it. That's an interesting solution idea! We'll pass that along.

For anyone following this thread, in talking with the team this morning they may like a little more time to talk through solutions for that last-day reward (like the one suggested here) so that it's the best it can be. For that reason, it's likely we'll have that info for everyone a little later than tomorrow, like I originally said. We will keep an eye on this thread today, though, and let you know as soon as we've decided on the solution for those of you locked out of that last-day reward.

Seems to me the easiest solution would be to change day 28 2.5k telvar to 5.5k telvar, and change day 31 to 1 gold. so no one loses anything.

I'd love a post mortem on what caused this bug. It sounds like a fascinating bit of game design lore what with Fargrave/The Reach somehow 'fixing' it temporarily for some of us.

I second this. It seems like such a weird fix to a bug that seems to have confounded everyone.

Great, thank you! That is the expected behavior, given the issue yesterday. So the issue is now resolved and DLR is unlocking when the next-day rollover happens, as it should. Affected players will be a day behind, and we are discussing options to get the reward for the last day of the month to those who should have qualified.

The issue is not resolved when PS4/5 on EU server are still locked out of the Day 2 (and subsequently Day 3) reward... none of the workarounds worked so far.

So will the hold up problem occur on the day of the mount as well? Because some people have bought it?
Maybe there should be an endeavour reward as an alternative (if that could be done).
As in X reward or 100 endeavours if owned already.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom I was able to accept the Day 2 reward (Orsinium) this morning at 10:05 EST. However, I cannot claim the Day 3 reward until March 4. Screenshot attached. So it looks like things are off by 24 hours. And the final day is still showing as locked.

Hey @Seraphayel, just to make sure we understand, did you claim Day 1 on March 1, then couldn't claim Day 2 yesterday (March 2) due to the issue and still cannot claim the Day 2 reward after today's maintenance? If that's the case, may we get your UserID/PSN ID?

I was able to claim day 2 today (should be day 3), last day greyed out as has been indicated should be the case.

I wouldn’t normally be too fussed about missing one day, but I don’t pvp much and so 3k telvar is not insignificant!

Swapping the rewards from Day 30 and Day 31 seems to be the most minimalist solution available to the present problem of the single day reward claim delay. However, for those afraid to approach PvP it is true that the easiest way to get Tel Var is, while yes in a PvP zone, still by doing PvE- fighting a single Patrolling Horror would give you the amount of Tel Var that you're instead fighting the Devs for right now. A tank with a taunt and a DPS together can make short work of most of them, but even that isn't necessary.


As for Orsinium, especially considering that the Orsimer are the only playable race without their own zone accessible in the base game, giving it the Vvardenfell and Imperial City treatment might make the game more approachable to newcomers in the long term. Always really liked Orsinium, I feel like access to it's story without ESO+ was compelling enough for me to buy it with crowns years ago and doing that story convinced me that the other DLC were worth checking out too so I subscribed up to play through the other zones. Just my experiences though, if the bug preventing people from claiming it is resolved already I suppose this wouldn't take any pressure off of the Dev team and that was what originally gave me that thought today.

Because of the daily login rewards on EU not being fixed until after the reset, I can't claim a day this month....
What are you going to do to fix this?
You guys waited until late last night to fix on EU. I logged in late and it still wasn't fixed!

After maintenance was able to claim Orsinium. Last day rewards is greyed out as I suspected. But otherwise daily rewards seem to be operating normally now.

I have read several pages of this thread but have not seen anyone report the same problem I am experiencing. I have ESO+ and am playing on an Xbox Series X. I have been unable to claim the daily reward on 03/02 or on 03/03. What seems to be different for me is that Orsinium does not show as the second day reward. Mine shows as a crown crate. I have tried traveling to many different zones. My wife's account does not have ESO+ and has the same problem: the second day reward shows as a crown crate and no rewards can be claimed. An alt account on my old Xbox One X shows Orsinium as the second day reward and the patch in the morning of 03/03 enabled this account to claim Orsinium.

Some people with that problem have solved it by completely restarting the XBox.

I claimed the day 1 reward on day 1.

I already owned Orsinium and had had pretty standard issues on day 2 (see my post on page 29).

On day 3, I initially got a UI error when I tried to access the daily login rewards from the Announcements page (which showed "A new month begins" as my next reward). After reloading the UI, I now see what should be the day 3 reward as my next reward, but it says I cannot claim it until tomorrow (when I should be able to claim it today).

Additionally, the day 3 reward still shows as the day 2 reward in the UI (which is unchanged from yesterday), and the day 31 reward (which shows as a day 30 reward) is still locked out (which I understand is to be expected).

In short, my rewards seem to be more bugged than they should be.

OK... so, Orsinium was claimable for me today, even though I already have it - what was the point of that?
Last day reward is still locked though.
Edit: Same on my kids account, able to claim it even though she already has it. Last reward still locked.

Any additional updates? Took several tries to claim day 2 on PC NA, once claimed, tried PC EU and failed until 3/3/24 early morning and the last day's rewards are grayed out.

Thanks for looking into this and trying to keep us abreast of the issues as they are "fixed"

Do we know the cause of this issue? Is it because we already own the DLC so can't clam it and missed a day's progression? If so, will we have the same problem for the upcoming Welwa mount and pet? For me, at least, they showed collected. I hope we don't go through the same trouble again.

People who did not own the DLC had problems claiming it too.

Any additional updates? I was able to claim day 2 on PC EU immediately upon logging in today, but the last day's reward is grayed out.

No problem with PC NA.

UserID: Seraphayel
Platform: Playstation 5
Server: EU
ESO+ subscriber (have not bought Orsinium)

Claimed March 1 reward on March 1 (Friday). Could not claim March 2 reward yesterday (no workaround did the job for me). Can not claim March 2 reward today after maintenance. Orsinium not even showing up in the daily reward screen. I attached a screenshot.

That's how it works every time you did not click a day in that month. Next day you will be able to claim same reward but the last day of month will be unavailable to click... this time it's just the fallout of a bug

I got my EU Orisinium login today (one day late) and my end of the month telvar is still locked.

I logged in this morning expecting my Orisinium claim to have gone through, and wanted my crates. No, I have to wait for day three's items for 8h (which I won't be here) and get them tomorrow. Which will eliminate my 5k gold at the end of the month, and put me at least two days behind all month now.

I thought this was all going to be fixed today; and everyone experiencing the problem yesterday would be all caught up and back to normal. I feel really behind, even though I spent a lot of time on this EU account yesterday.

Hello, it doesn't work for me!!Changing territory doesn't help! it is not possible to claim the 2 day as I am the owner of these dlc s!
Funnily enough, my "Camp Housing Accounts" don't go !! either They don't have Eso Plus and no Dlc s!! I'm sure I can tick off this month!!
That it doesn't work on other Xboxes with my twink accounts!!

PC EU W11 - already own Orsinium, Guilds and Glory purchase long ago. Claimed rewards with no issue March 2, but when I logged in today, March 3, I had to claim it again, and last day of the rewards calendar was greyed out as if I'd missed a day of claiming rewards. So even players who experienced no issues, still get issues anyway.

March 5 - no change

Either people need to stop worrying about missing out on 5k gold, 3k tv, and other minor rewards, or Zos will have to go back to the 21 daily rewards per month so players don't have to worry about missing out on such small things.
