Also I should clarify for templars, you cast your ice comet first, stun them with aurora javelin so they can't block the comet, and then use radiant oppression from there. Basically every templar I run into nowadays is trying to do this.
For sorcerers, they put the haunting curse on you, proc a crystal frag from spamming crushing shock or similar, then apply mages fury and time their crystal frag proc to land at the same time the haunting curse explodes. Timing can be a little tricky and getting interrupted doesn't really help but that's the general plan.
Wardens time their burst around the deep fissure ability much like sorcs and haunting curse. Generally stam wardens will use 2h with wrecking blow and executioner as they don't have the class abilities that sorcerers have.
Nightblade with 10k pen, 50% crit chance, 100% crit damage:
Light attack with a ranged weapon to build up to 5 stacks for merciless resolve and approach target in cloak, then Incapacitating strike --> Merciless Resolve bow proc--> Killer's Blade (if they're still alive)
10k pen is basically dual wielding sharpened maces with lover mundus, then use sets to build into crit and crit damage (archer's mind and/or order's wrath for instance -- bonus, both work in no proc cyro/ic).
The templar combo is Javelin -> Ice Comet -> Radiant Oppression for what it's worth. LOS is your friend when playing against it.

This is the only possible way a Templar can kill anything at the moment since they have no useful class skills. You can definitely get more burst on sorc/nb. One of the highest single target burst combos I've seen is necro with rez ulti getting 4 blast bones to land at once but it's super hard to set that up.

What Templar lacks in outright burst they make up for with extreme pressure. Despite popular belief, stamina jabs is still one of the top damage dealing spamables in the game, especially if you build into its ability to strike multiple times.
