Crafter's Celebration Feedback Thread

When I saw this event pop up I was soooo excited!!! I saw the master crafting writ bonus and thought "They heard how disappointed we were after this year's Zenithar and this is them making it up to us!!!" And then I found out the bonus only applied to writs that dropped during that short event!?!? ... which, incidentally, was NOT specified in the game, or in the forum. Instead, we were left to discover our deep disappointment on our own, as our excitement quickly faded. 😭

It was a great idea that had massive potential, but was implemented very poorly.

Firstly, the error in the transmutation part that caused it to be removed in its entirety, was so obvious that it should never have made it to live in the first place.

Secondly, the Harvesting/ deconstructing increases only mimic what I can already get through CP. At least the harvesting bonus stacked with Plentiful harvest, so a more there. Meticulous disassembly already gives almost the same benefit as the deconstruction boost, which highlights a deeper issue. You can only get one quality improvement item from deconstruction no matter how many went into making it. I can see the balance reasons for making things work this way, but it means there is little you can do to improve things.

Thirdly, Inspiration. Just copy pasted from my post in Friday's thread: 'Inspiration gain. For something meant to celebrate crafters it is worthless to the characters you are celebrating, as they all have maxed Crafting skills and have no need for inspiration at all.' Adding to that. One positive is that some players have used it to level new crafters.

Finally master writs. Aside from the muddled explanation at first. There were too few extra writs to make a significant difference, The low drop chance meant that using 5 characters I got 1 master writ today. On top of that the doubled rewards were only for a few days so characters were at the mercy of the RNG, with some players doing better than others. On top of that, while people focus on the gold writs that can reward over 100 tokens, the bulk of writs reward only as handful of tokens, unless they require rare (expensive) components to make. The best thing is that the bonus rewards are 'baked in', meaning they can be used after the event. If might have been better to greatly increase the chance of writs dropping. As it is, most players may have got a couple of dozen extra tokens, for items that cost hundreds. Underwhelming.

Overall I like the idea of a crafting based event, but a lot more thought needs to be put into how it is put into practice.

It was disappointing that only writs that dropped during the event had double rewards. Didn't play much as a result.

Communication could have been better on the Transmute dupe issue also. I didn't even know that boost was disabled until I read this thread.

    Everyone here had good points.
I just wanted to point out that 12 Transmute Crystal cost was an awesome idea and I (and many) would have loved it and would love it to come back in the hopefully upcoming return of this event.

I understand why the problem has occurred this time: it seemed logical that even if reconstruction cost was 12 the decon should have given back 24, since otherwise people would have potentially lost half of their transmutes during this event, because their gear reconstructed during the event would have given back only 12 instead of 25 when deconned and the people who store reconstructed items would have ended up storing half of what they used to have: the outrage would have righteously been WAAAY worse than what happened this time.

It will take a good bit of engineering and coding but I hope you can figure it out so that next time we won't exploit double Transmutes and won't lose half either. What's important is, PLEASE, bring back this event from time to time with 12 Transmute Crystal as cost, boost at crafting inspiration, double resources, and maybe adding better drops from refinement and a way to reduce trait research time.
Surprise or not it will always be welcome! It was a good idea.

Ok if any improvement to this event? Why not add in some bones for us poor housing decorators with even more chances of rare drops. Also why are all those beautiful Wysteria Trees from Summerset still not available in Crownstore or as ingame purchase at the Homegoods Furnishers?

I was good with just harvesting double nodes. Thanks for that :)

Increased Drop Rate of Furnishing Materials:
An increase in the drop rate of furnishing materials. While these are already affected by the green CP passive that doubles farmed materials (At least I believe it does), the drop rate is rather low. Benefits players who are into housing.

Resource events already do this, although I'd agree the bonus could be 1) fixed (it currently doesn't affect Heartwood) and 2) perhaps increased overall.

Plentiful Harvest certainly affects the amount of furnishing mats you get while harvesting regular resource nodes, though not the chance to get any in the first place. While PH works on survey nodes, survey nodes never drop furnishing mats. PH doesn't work on furnishing mats that drop from leather sources (Decorative Wax and Clean Pelt from mobs like mudcrabs, wolves, lions, etc.), and it doesn't work on the furnishing mats (Decorative Wax) that drop from insects and other flying harvestables (jellies and such).

My observed drop rate without Plentiful Harvest for furnishing mats is 20%, with 3/4 (15%) of that being a 1x drop and 1/4 (5%) being a 2x. Plentiful Harvest does affect furnishing mats, but it does not change the drop rate of getting any in the first place, as for these mats it only rolls if you drew a furnishing mat in the first place. So the drop rates with PH are still 20% overall of getting any furnishing mat, broken down into 7.5% (1x), 8.13% (2x), 3.75% (3x), and 0.63% (4x).

The resource event bonus also applies to furnishing mats from regular resource nodes, working multiplicatively with PH. Since it works as a second, independent pull, the event does increase the drop chance of getting a furnishing mat: instead of a 20% rate of getting any furnishing mat, I see the expected rate of 36% (actually mine is currently 36.54% when not counting Heartwood). You can get any amount between 1x and 8x during an event with PH slotted, except in my experience for Heartwood. (The chances of getting 8x are somewhere around 0.004%, based on my drop rates.)

The event bonus also applies to furnishing mats dropped by leather sources (despite the event text saying it doesn't - it does), so you can get 2x furnishing mats from mobs that normally have a chance at dropping only 1x. It does not work on insects or other flying harvestables - those always have a tiny chance (~1%) of dropping 2x a furnishing mat, regardless of any event or PH.

Unfortunately there is a bug where the event bonus does not apply to Heartwood specifically for some reason, so you will only get the benefit of Plentiful Harvest there. They could start by fixing that, as Heartwood is often in demand.

Good event, as it prioritized and rewarded those who have leveled and invested in multiple crafters. The way master writs gave double vouchers was cool too and thought out very well(worded confusingly in the main article), so add-on spamming thousands of master writs would not grant too many benefits or break the event. I'm wondering though: Would this event grant double vouchers for ALL master writs, even ones received before the event, if add-ons weren't in the equation? If so, they are directly having a negative effect on an event reward.

The rewards for the event were fine. The only minor thing I can think of is that this event should grant a few research scrolls. The first daily crafting quest of each crafting skill per day per account should have granted a 1-day research scroll for that craftskill.

There was a problem with transmuting and the reduced cost, hopefully next time this will be fixed as I was looking forward to this. Maybe run a reduced transmute crafting cost mini event after MYM so players can benefit from the reduced cost that was supposed to happen.

Events like this should not be announced sooner, as that defeats the purpose of surprise events. The way this was done was fine!

Good event, only some minor issues. But those issues didn't have much of a negative effect on the event itself(for me).

    You know.
A surprise Crafter's Event just doesn't work for most Folk and Folkettes IMO.
Apart from echoing almost everything everyone else has....
For myself, as a crafter... I don't wake up and say 'Hey... TODAY I'm going to craft....'
    I craft everyday....
    I plan...
I work on getting the mats I need whether it be by playing the game as in doing trials for Slaughterstones or running around harvesting and doing surveys or simply buying what I need or deconstructing bits we have collected from in zone participation.
I juggle and manage my bank space and my mules.
And I kinda feel that this is what most dedicated crafter's do too.

So as has been echoed in the past, concerning Harvesting Surprise Days, it seems we generally don't enjoy this kind of surprise, we appreciate it, certainly..... But don't enjoy the surprise part of it

Now a surprise PvP event or Trial event is different. That is likely to get a positive reaction and prompt people to drop what they are doing and potentially participate and enjoy it.

    But Crafting and Harvesting?
We spend so much time doing daily writs, getting surveys and seeking out mats or motifs.
    Every single day....

So "What He and She and They said" and what I felt on top.

Within the first hour of the event I realised there was so little incentive for me, so I did not engage and simply.......
......carried on as I do every other day......
Did my dailies on 11 toons, managed to do one Gold Writ that dropped in those 3 days after I bought the required motif for a small fortune and the 160 vouchers I got made me feel no different from the Gold Writ I did 4 days prior to the event that gave me 210 vouchers...
    Woo... Double vouchers?
    I didn't feel it...
So sadly, in all honesty... for me at least.
This event did nothing for me.
    It felt lacklustre.

The intention may have been good but the practicality was off.

Events of this nature, concerning Crafting and Harvesting would be far better received
if they were pre-planned and announced in advance.

We're not weekend warriors... (mmm, actually... maybe we are lol)
    We are daily crafter's.
Running around collecting what we need to build training gear for new players, make tri-pots for our Prog Teams. Create Gold Glyphs for our Duelers or Theory Crafters.

Crafting and Harvesting events are things I feel many Crafters would be very very grateful for should they be able to plan their participation.

I remember how people vocalised their disappointment in missing the Harvesting days and had they known, they would have made different plans to their Real Lives so they could engage... I really felt their frustration in what they were vocalising and realised how important something like this would be for us Folk.

Nice idea but sadly really disappointing in reality.

It is nice to see though that it did work for some folk.

I always appreciate increased harvesting. I farm housing mats during those events. Otherwise, the event was a non-event due to exploiting ruining the transmute part of the event. Did anyone get banned? Also, the writ voucher thing was super disappointing. I got fewer master writs than normal, but double on those that I did get. Guess that balances out to no bonus at all. Sort of like retailers raising the price of something and then advertising the discounted price. I was able to use the bonus inspiration to level my last writ mule so thanks for that. That was good.

I have probably 50+ maxed crafters across 4 servers. Nothing in the event motivated me to play all of them. No great reward for daily crafting writs. I may have gotten more gold stuff, though I saw many that did not have that so I am not sure.

Master Writs really need help on console. I have wasted far too much effort trying to figure out which ones I can do and which ones I cannot. Pre-crafting should be simple, but I have made enough slightly wrong mats that it is frustrating.

Nothing else made me think "I really want to play more to enjoy this" like I hoped it would.

I am in the "grind skyshards" phase since I won't pay real money for them, so that is also sucking up a lot of my time, especially on my abandoned (for several years) console characters and the Arcanists I started on both PC and PS5 servers.

I would love to have had a research bonus for a few characters that are still researching everything, but even that would have limited value (probably less than 12 alts overall).

I am not fully sure what would make it more exciting. Perhaps better rewards for daily crafting, at least for me.

My feedback is based on my understanding that this was intended to be a casual “surprise” event of crafting bonuses.

    1) double nodes worldwide: always appreciated by everyone. A rare weekend of just this without anything else would be a hit. (Note: I personally don’t have eso+ and didnt farm much)

    2) Double Inspiration : a nice bonus for people still leveling crafts. Doesn’t benefit me at all but I’m happy for others

    3) Increased chance to recover upgrade mats on decon : doesn’t impact most people most of the time but a nice little bonus.

You could have stopped here and it would have been a nice reward weekend. But people fully leveled and geared would have complained that there wasn’t anything for them. So…

    4) half cost trait change. Nice. Very nice. The intended reduced reconstruction would have been better. It’s too bad it was exploitable, and really you should have seen that coming

    5) Writ vouchers: really poorly worded. This has been belabored so much there’s no point in piling on but “master writs dropped during the event will have double voucher value” would have been more clear.

In general this was a nice little “mini event”. I’m sorry for the people coming in with pages of complaints and lists of other rewards they think they should get

I love getting increased-draw resource nodes in all zones.

The doubled writ vouchers on master writs were also nice. I know a lot of players were expecting/hoping they'd get doubled writ vouchers for completing all of their existing backlog of master writs, but I think I also get why it was done as it was.

Likewise, the halved transmute crystals for reconstructing gear would have been nice, and it's a shame that that had to be scrapped to prevent rampant exploitation.

All in all, I think it was a great idea, and I hope this mini-event returns with whatever tweaks are required to improve it.

The CP passive does not increase furnishing material drops. I have one account with and one account without (not enough CP yet), and both get the same drop amount of furnishing materials. I've noticed this, if anything, the one without the passive gets more than the one who does, it's just random.

That being said, for those of us who like to go around farming nodes for materials needed an increase in spawn rates, as, almost everywhere I went, the nodes I was looking for were more empty than not, and I was trying to go to places I assumed were less than popular, as I don't have the CP passive on that account to get the increased drops, so the increased drops would benefit that one.

As for other elements of the event, yes, I think master writs should've seen an increase in drop rates given that the 100% writ vouchers were only attached to the ones that dropped during the event.

I know people were upset that clams didn't yield extra drops, although supposedly (according to one of my guildmates) mudcrabs dropped extra. I don't know about the people who said that leather drops were higher, because I did not experience that -at all-, it was just one or two rubedo leather (again, no CP passive for extra drops) from creatures with level 10 clothing.

If I remember more, I'll add it, but I think that was it for me.

The CP node absolutely does increase furnishing mat drops from regular resource nodes. It increases the amount of mats you get, but not the chance of getting them in the first place, since it rolls when you draw a furnishing mat to begin with.

I will always HATE how little notice we receive for events. Along with that, a "surprise event" just rubs me the wrong way on all fronts. Especially when it doesn't release when things reset.

I was fortunate enough at the start of this event to wake up later than I normally do and so I only had time to do daily writs on 2 toons before I left for work. Normally I do my daily writs on my toons before I head out for the day. When I got home and saw there was an event, I was thankful I still had an opportunity to do daily writs on a few other toons. I'm sure there are quite a few people who missed out on a day of potentially getting a good Master Writ because of the failure to communicate before hand, and they are justifiably irritated at that.

I agree with most of the other sentiments in this thread.
    I appreciate double node drops.
The deconning bonus was not enough to be noticed.
Anecdotally, I received fewer Master Writs each day than normal.

But the big kick in the teeth was the removal of the reconstruction for half cost, especially with Midyear Mayhem coming up.

I liked the double resource node loot. I didn't like how the double voucher reward didn't apply to writs already active or in your inventory prior to the Event, as I had a couple high value writs I'd been sitting on for a long time and were just recently able to actually complete them, and I thought "oh this Event will make it even better!".

So basically my only advantage of this entire event was the couple harvesting sprees I did for crafting mats.

The big 2-week events usually call for full playtime investment into it, eg grinding zone dailies, event dungeons, etc. to get all the shinies and benefits. As a result people are exhausted of this particular activity and the event zone is completely empty for a couple of weeks after the event ended. The crafters event just adds some different flavour to the game for a short time without the urge to go all in. I like that. So, please do more such events.

Few point for the crafters event:
    - double voucher master writs. Nice flavour. But it was worded badly in the announcement. Make it much more clear next time that only writs dropping during the event get this bonus, and make clear that the bonus stays on the writ if not consumed during the event.
    - increased ressources is always welcome
    - transmute exploit is an increadible oversight by devs and their QA
    - increased temper drops from decon is too weak of a bonus. It's only usefull when decon purple and gold gear as green and blue tempers are bloody cheap and crafters usually drown in those. Purple and gold items just don't drop in the required amount or the time investment to farm vet content is too big to make it worthwhile. As an idea for the next iteration increase also the drop rate of style and trait items from deconning.
    - apart from the transmute cost reduction, there was nothing else benefitting item creation, which is the core purpose of a crafter. Something like reduced temper cost when upgrading gear, reduced cost of crafting furniture, increased yield when crafting potions or provisioning items, etc would have been nice.

    Idea 9/10
    Marketing 6/10
    Communication 3/0
    Planning 2/10
    Execution 3/10

A nice idea that totally went off the wrong way. I won't ask if the spoilerin the newslette was just a slip or simply bad marketing; shutting off communication in the forums never works out, however. Onw would expect better from 10 years of experience.
Havin mini-events like that is a great tool to keep players tuned, be it the extra xp and drops eventy we already had or the battleground weekends. I was exited to hear about extending the idea to the crafting area, which sounded great, regardless ofthe actual rewards.
Not using the free ressources you have for planning the event is what most players just can not understand.
    - public test server is in an active cycle, so the event could have been properly tested.
    - a large community of enthusiasts that actually play the game and are keen on trying things and asking the right quastions would have detected the flaws in a matter of minutes (as they actually have after launch).

Why not use these ressources? Because it was supposed to be a "surprise event"? Come on.
Players have really appreciated the idea and enjoyed the boons and rewards of the event. Really.
Now imagine, how much more enjoyable it would have been with proper bug-testing and communication.

I am sincerely convinced that the team is not just doing a job to pay bills, but that they enjoy the worlf of elder scrolls and bringing it to the enjoyment of their fan base. They just have to learn to trust their fan base and involve them more, this could do so much to improve the product.

Personally I disagree with the call that all events should be PTS tested prior to release. I think surprise events have the potential to be some of the best in many games provided they are internally tested and don't introduce any immediately obvious exploits.

Perhaps simply having a small player group with a high level of game knowledge review such events prior to announcements (they don't need to play it just 'this is what we're thinking' 'these would be possible rewards').

Any player who understands the crafting and transmutation systems in the game could have easily told you within 30s that if you half the reconstruction cost but don't change the deconstruction transmute return more transmutation crystals will be generated than spent.

That being said honestly I don't really understand why this is such a huge problem, are transmutation crystals really such a precious currency in ZOS's eyes that such a potential 'reward' of the event is removed?

As for the event itself it felt a little lacklustre, material surveys weren't affected and only dailies done within the event time window had a chance of generating boosted rewards. This both limits the potential to players who don't get to play every day and also those with fewer characters. Personally I'm a fan of larger rewards on a 'one per account per week' type structure.

The increased resource generation was nice but if the aim was to help with the rampant inflation in the in game economy this didn't really fulfil the task.

I'm gonna weight in my opinions here.

I think players forgot that Microsoft (now an owner of ZemiMax studios) laid off or plans on laying off about 22,000 employees across all it's gaming studios it has acquired. Now I don't know if this has any real impact on the crafter event that was run, but clearly someone dropped the ball on the design, and rollout of this festival.

On top of the poor timing, lack of announcements, and the lackluster incentives to participate, I noticed a lack of participants this year in certain zones (like Craglorn) and there was a lot of grumbling among the crafter players within the game across multiple servers and platforms.

The last crafting event I participated in, where you could get extra goodies from writs, and a ton of other nicer incentives, Craglorn was infested, yes infested with players trying to outrun each other for nodes. This time, I personally saw about 5 other players total across all the 5 days I personally harvested.

On top of that the utter confusion about the master writs have seen 2 of my friends taking a very long hiatus and have told me they will be missing the Mayhem event this year, and will probably be taking the rest of the year off. I don't think the powers that be really foresaw the community lash back for such a poorly executed event.

Our crafters, across all platforms, across all servers, are the backbones to more than just gear. They help run the economy, trading items, mats, and helping their guilds and the community at large with gear and builds. Those of us who craft who spend at minimum a year, maybe two or three getting that Grand Master Title feel like we've been slapped in the face with this last crafters festival. I know way too many GMC who chose not to participate at all and just did their dailies per usual, and ran content instead of focusing on their crafting. Without good incentives, we don't want to waste our time with frivolous payouts.

There are plenty of other voices before me who have given great suggestions, so I will fall back on their words. There's really nothing more I could add to it other than maybe this....

    My simple recommendation is this:
Let us collect companion gear and traits, and let us break down the junk companion gear that has traits no one ever seems to like. Let us recreate the gear we need, with it's own set on the transmutation station, and use our crafting mats to make gear in light, med or heavy. let us make gold companion gear for those companions that have -all- the skills and passives unlocked. If need be, make it very expensive to craft gold companion gear. or give it it's own set of improvement mats. I remember getting the gold companion coffer during the high isle fest. And a lot of people missed the opportunity to get those for their companions.

Overall, the event is a great idea, but the execution needs some finesse.

+100% Inspiration gain to all crafting skill lines
I've been playing ESO since Day 1 2014 and with no new crafting skill lines to level this was a dud for me but I can see how it might benefit newer players.

+100% Writ Vouchers earned from Master Writs created during the event
Great idea! However, I received at most about 4 writs during the entire weekend all of which were enchanting or provisioning writs which gave me about 10 writs in total. At that rate you could have left the event running all year and I might have enough writs to buy some stuff after 365 days.

The biggest issue here with drops is that its tied to how many styles you have learned on one character and as of now there are 100s of styles to learn which are increasing every patch. I for one cannot keep up with them all and I play every single day (no idea how new players battle this) its WAY too much now!

I know you need to battle the players running multiple characters across multiple accounts but what about the everyday player that just wants to enjoy the game for what it is. Writs for each profession should be a guaranteed drop once per day per account as a minimum which makes it fair across the board no matter if you're a level 1 player or a seasoned veteran.

I did love the writs being included in the daily login, great idea!

Increased drops from harvest nodes (this does not include fishing or creature drops such as leather)
As of right now I have over 60k Rubedo leather (and nothing to use it on) because it drops so frequent but Mundane Rune and Alchemical Resin some of the foundation of being able to build amazing housing designs is almost non-existence in drops, why are these not dropping more as well, the economy is very expensive and could have been fixed with this event but you missed the point.

50% reduction in Transmute Crystal costs for changing item traits (requires a Transmute Station, found in the Clockwork City DLC game pack or available for player homes)
My transmutes on most items in the game are 25 each so this didnt really affect me but I would have loved to have seen double drops on transmutes during the event, that would have been more worthwhile for me because after all if you cant get transmutes crystals how do you even use the half price on transmuting :)

Increased chance of receiving improvement materials such as Tempering Alloy or Mastic when deconstructing equipment of an appropriate rarity
This was a welcome change but I do wish it gave more than one gold item back. I really wanted to decon all my old gold gear (and I have 100s) and build new sets to try out from the new dungeons over the last few years but getting one gold temper and then having to craft another item and use 8 is NOT worth it! I do like where you are going with this so please do more like this.

I was also expecting some half price on writ items from the Mastercraft Mediator. I would love to buy some Attunable stations for my Master Stations but they are just too damn expensive at 250 each, can we do something about that with this event please?

Lots of other great feedback here I agree with this so will keep my post short, thanks.

I'm playing this game since the beta.

This event is a bonus. Yes.

But the advertism for it is just awful.

Well, to say it in plain simple German to you, ZeniMax:

    HÖRT AUF UNS ZU VERARSCHEN!

But thanks that you might be possibly interested in my honest opinion.

Very good idea for me but rather poor execution (rebuild exploit).

This bug was so evident ! 2 minutes to test.

Most of the feedback I have has already been stated many times in this thread, so I won't repeat it all. But I would like to clarify a bit more why this event in particular wasn't the best to release unannounced.

First of all, I really like the idea of surprise events, and hope zos will finetune this concept to apply it more in the future. But most of the negative feedback about this event in particular being a surprise comes down to this: it added a bonus on things you can only do a limited amount of times.
    • Double voucher worth on writs generated: everyone who did their dailies before the event was announced missed out on a full day of rewards, and will be annoyed.
    • Half cost of retrait: people who just spent a couple hundred of transmutes the day(s) before to adjust their gear will be annoyed (transmute crystals are a finite resource).
    • Improved chance of receiving boosters when deconstructing gear: people who did inventory management and deconstructed a bunch of gear the day(s) before will be annoyed.
    • Reduced cost to reconstruct gear: assuming it wasn't pulled, people who just spent a lot of transmutes the day(s) before would have been annoyed.
    • Increased inspiration: seems to get more neutral than negative feedback, but some people for who this still matters are annoyed that they didn't get a chance to save up a couple days worth of intricate gear.
The only thing that doesn't get any negative feedback are the double resource node drops, because this is something you can jump into when the event starts, without feeling like you're missing out by something you did or didn't do the days before. So please use this as a rule of thumb for events going forwards: bonus rewards on things you can repeat unlimited times are a good surprise, examples being resource node drops, boss drops, kill experience, ap, tel var... Bonuses on things you can benefit from a limited amount of times should be announced in advance, examples being (daily) quest rewards, currency cost discounts, rewards gained from finite resources.

I liked that the earned master writs had double value voucher amounts. I was able to get enough doable writs that I was able to earn the 1000 vouchers needed to purchase another set of attunable stations. Which in turn allowed me to attune my last set station in Cyrodiil.

Double node yields are always nice. Although, it seemed many choose to farm Craglorn. Who can blame them, it was why I was there. Double yields plus nirncrux. Not going to pass that up.

I didn't mess with the transmute stuff. Though looking back, I probably should have transmuted a few to nirncrux and broke them down for the nirncrux stones. Oh, well.

As an event that celebrated crafters - in general I enjoyed it and was quite busy during it.
I finished leveling up all my toon's crafting and got a crazy amount of Master writs with double vouchers.

Obviously the communication and wording of the event was horrible - but you know that. Hopefully you will log and actually execute that lesson learned. I'd literally used up almost all my transmute crystals the day before building new pvp sets.

A bit more 'crafter' focus would have been nice.
Extra Research bonuses of some kind - either drops of the crown research scrolls - probably the easiest way to do it - or double the number of items that can be researched at a time.

Extra mats or rewards from doing daily writs.

Totally agree with the 'extra style mats from deconstruction' others have suggested - not a game breaker, but really really nice.

Didn't receive any extra Writ Vouchers from writs that dropped DURING the celebration - thus I lost about... 400 WV I guess.

Increased inspiration was great, definitely. So too was the double resource yield.

There was no cost reduction to Transmutes though.

Also, what @sh4d0wh4z3 posted in the very beginning of this thread - very valid. This would TRULY be a 'celebration'. Alas, it was just... cool, but meh.

The double writ voucher value was already present in the writ description. It was working as intended, although I think they could have stood to explain it would be included in the tooltip already and that odd numbers were to be expected for some writs.
