Just for fun discussion: How to decrease QOL?

This post is just meant for fun. Lets imagine ZOS would make the game worse by making mechanichs worse. A few examples from me:

-Researching traits are reset, whenever you research a trait, you have to stay by the crafting table with the research tab open until it is finished. If you exit the table, research will stop and must be restartert.

-You can only have 1 single skill activate at once, if you have a dot or hot active, you cant cast another skill until the timed skill runs out. Light and heavy attacks also counts as a skill.

-Horses are hungry: You can feed the horse 1 of either speed, stamina or carrying skill each day, but the horse devours 2 skills each day. You start with 0 on each skills, but negative numbers are a thing

Please come up with humoristic decrease of QOL in ESO

A patch is released, but fixes none of the underlying issues in the game.

A user wants a scroll quest in PvP but the quest-giver never gives it to the user, only providing quests they don't want or can't use.

A user is stuck in combat and can only be released by facing away from combat and running across an open field for 20 min.

A user tries to pick a flower or any other resource only to be stuck in combat for 30 seconds or more because they killed a mudcrab.
"O divine art of subtlety and secrecy!

Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible; and hence we can hold the enemy’s fate in our hands.” – Ch. VI, v. 8-9. — Master Sun Tzu

"You haven't beaten me you've sacrificed sure footing for a killing stroke." — Ra's al Ghul

He who is prudent and lies in wait for an enemy who is not, will be victorious — Master Sun Tzu

Werewolves get -10% Maximum Health while not transformed, to mimic the Maximum Health penalty for not killing an innocent while transformed in previous Elder Scrolls titles. This also serves to make Werewolf have some penalty while out of form, to make them more evenly balanced to Vampire, which receives penalties at all times.

Jumping now incurs a ramping Stamina cost, to mimic the Stamina cost for training the Acrobatics skill in previous Elder Scrolls titles.

Every attack now has a chance to miss, despite visually connecting, to mimic the functionality in previous Elder Scrolls titles.

Everytime you try to craft something using cheese, Sheogorath steals it. The only time you're able to craft any cheese dishes is if Bastian is out, because Sheogorath delights in his pain.

Bastian can get his last laugh though. If you choose to make a cheese dish with him out, he gets one piece of amber. Eventually he has enough to forge an incredible sword that smites all of his foes and temporarily banishes all cheese from Tamriel.

Add extra stats to armor and weapons, 2 to 3 lines of stats (kinda like 3 or 4 piece set bonuses, but per piece and stat amounts based on rarity). These stats could be something like spell damage, weapon damage, max mag, crit chance, etc. Except these stat lines are random, have rarities, and the means to increase the rarity and reroll the random stats can only be bought through the cash shop. Increasing rarity isn't guaranteed (in fact it's a very low chance), and rerolling stats is random and can result in exactly the same stats that you already had. Oh, and getting random stats on an item is random, too. You might get a drop that has no extra lines, or a drop that has extra lines, and adding them to existing armor is also something you have to buy in the cash shop... With a chance that it'll just fail based on an arbitrary percentage meaning you have to buy it again.

Stole this from another mmo I know.

    Second one:

Make it so at 8 tempers, there is a 50% chance to upgrade from purple to gold. It doesn't go above 50%, but you can click a toggle that pays 500 crowns every time you fail for your item to not be destroyed. Also let players upgrade items beyond gold; it still costs 8 gold tempers, and each success beyond gold gives your item a star, up to 5 stars. This has a 30% chance of success each time.

As it's all just for fun, here is one QoL decrease:

The game now leaves the hard work of assigning earned xp to the player.
Basically, every time your character earns xp, be it from questing, combat, exploration, finding Mages books, Legerdemain, etc., the game simply deposits that xp in your bank. The game no longer immediately applies that xp to your current character, just deposits it in the bank.

It is then up to you to log into any of your alts, at a time of your convenience, head to the bank, withdraw an xp amount of your choice, and apply it to that alt to level up whatever.

So, if you withdrew and applied/spent Mages xp on them, you level up their Mages line. If it was werewolf xp, and it's a werewolf alt, you level up their werewolf.
Remember, all types of xp in your bank are only there because one of your characters did initially earn that xp.

An interesting consequence of this QoL decrease is that all these xp types sitting in your bank are now basically currencies.

Currencies that you use to purchase various forms of your character's progression - combat xp buys combat progression, crafting inspiration xp buys crafting progression etc.
Unfortunately, it all somehow leads to the following:

In guild stores, players now can list their wares, not in gold or in addition to gold, in xp as well.
Someone can list a valuable motif in Mages xp or some other xp currency.

Basically, with this arrangement, a player who doesn't engage in combat much and only farms Potent Nirncrux, can list their Potent in xp. Earn a ton of xp from sales and when they feel like it can use that xp to level their alt's combat or whatever.

In closing, as stated at the beginning, it's all for a bit of fun. None of this plays nice with the revenue model to go anywhere.

What if I go north? Disappear.
    Would you come after me?

What about: Whenever you create a new character, your former characters skill decreases by the amount of skill your new character earns. So if your new characters Mages Guild skill-line goes up by one, your former characters Mages Guild skill-line goes down by one

Revert mounts to needing to be individually trained.

    180 days, per mount.

Armour has a chance of permanently breaking if not repaired once it reaches 0.

Vet ranks are brought back, along with an increase on the gear cap with each chapter, requiring new mats.

Addons are disabled, crossplay is now enabled.

Get a stacking health debuff every time you die. At 50 stacks you die permanently. And your character is deleted too.
Whenever you are hit in the head, there is a chance you will forget one of your researched traits and have to learn it again.
Being in combat grants you a stack of 'tired' every minute. At 100 stacks your character goes home to sleep and logs you out. The stacks decay at the same rate but only when offline.
Whenever you use a wayshrine, there is a 5% chance a 'wayshrine malfunction' will occur and not all of you will make it through, killing you messily or forcing you to pay again to transport the rest of your body.
If you're forcibly dismounted by enemies, your mount runs away and is removed from your collections until you catch it.

    Ideas to decrease QoL:

    1- cultists knock on your door, no matter if you live in Wayrest or in the Deadlands, asking if you're familiar with [include deity's name here];

    2 - due to environmental damage, feeding yourself to the slaughterfish in Cyrodiil now results in a hefty fine;

3 - lawyers now exist in Tamriel.
