Transmute reduction not applying to the event.

I just crafted 2 pieces to my Nobility in Decay set and they both charged me the full amount, even after restarting the game. It'd be nice to have some information to what's going on before more people get robbed of their hard earned transmutes.

There was a major Bug and a thread. ZOS disabled it.

Transmutation cost is still halved. Reconstruction cost is not.

The announcement in game will remain inaccurate because they cannot fix it now. The price on the transaction when you actually go to transmute or reconstruct should be accurate.

it would have been nice to get a notice on the change before I got robbed. I guess it would have been smarter to test it first but I didn't know how it worked

It wasn't even a bug. The system was working exactly as intended and as it always has.

The team responsible for the event just did not test it, or had no understanding of how the transmute & reconstruction systems worked.
