This used to be more useful information when eating cake gave the XP buff for two hours, and eating the new cake would give tickets and xp buff, but if you had too many tickets, you might not want to risk losing some by eating it before you'd spent some. Now there's passive XP all the time, so it doesn't matter as much. (But no actual buff, so you can't tell it's active. They're working on a way to see it.)

so if I took a break from ESO between 2020 and 2021 and did not do the anniversary event in those years I would miss out on the cake furniture?
