Purge should be handled with a lot of care, as such, a universal skill giving it should have pretty hard drawbacks like how the Support line Purge costs 5k+ magicka, but effects your team.
I'd much rather see self purges handled within classes than a universal skill. There is a pretty big gap between the classes with or without in class purges right now after the dot changes to make them 20-30 seconds.
Quick examples:
- (Sorc) Dark Deal morphs = Purge 2 effects on cast.
- (NB) Siphoning Attack morphs = Purge up to 4 effects when the skill ends. (+1 effect every 5 seconds).
- (DK) Battle Roar passive = Purge 1 effect every 50 ult spent.
- (Necro) Expunge morphs = Decent purge, but everything else about the skills feel underwhelming, should add some extra bonuses to them.
- (Templar) Ritual = Great the way it is. 2 effects on damage morph or 5 effects on heal morph. Synergy for allies to purge all effects.
- (Warden) Betty Netch = Great the way it is. 1 effect on cast and passively every 5 seconds.
- (Arcanist).. not sure what would be thematically good for them. Maybe on Tome-Bearer's Inspiration like Warden's Netch, but that's a little too similar? IDK.

I'd also like a purge for in Werewolf form if every class is given access to a purge. A purge could probably be tied to Hircine's Bounty and morphs, since it's the only skill in the toolkit with the target of Self.
