Any hints about the companions so far? What do you wish for?

Wishing for Almalexia, Ayrenn or Lyris.

I expect them to close the gaps in race choice (altmer, bosmer...)
I have doubts about necromancer though, as it might invoke some problems with some of their skills being criminal acts.

As we are promised two companions and only one class missing (necro), there will be doubles anyway.

What I personally would favourize an animal companion like a dog, wolf, raven... Might be magical in nature, so they can talk, but blend in otherwise.

A fun option would be a dwemer automaton, let's call it "Arrghtoudhetou" that rumples along beeping, unintelligibly and popping out buzzsaw tools and zapper beams...

Khajiit wishes for a delightful Orc Grrl companion who will not only fight with the fury of 10 bald-bottoms but will also carry khajiit around when he is getting fatigued, like a wee-kitten.

I'm hoping we get a credible Imperial companion. Everything about Bastian is so Breton-like he doesn't really count.

there's enough necromancer skills that don't give bounties.
and companions can also be given custom skills.

and those options do souns fun, but are very unlikely to happen.

I hope not, I think we have enough companions as it is.

Who forces you to use them?

There are several things in the game that are updated by ZOS with each chapter (like new Tales of Tribute cards), and that I don't care about at all, but I don't know why I would complain. Other people are happy about it. Fine with me.
