Not receiving items from one specific guild trader

I bought a few items on a guild trader a while ago but didn't receive it. Tried to reloadui, logged out and in again, but still nothing. As I was really needing it I decided to buy similar items in a different guild trader, exactly in the same city, and I received all immediately. Why there are traders slower than others to deliver items and how do I know which ones are faster? Btw... now there's a message on mail informing that the items I bought first "may take several minutes to appear". Interesting.

    Meanwhile I received the items. So, this is solved. I guess I'm just not buying from that slow trader again when I'm in need to receive something faster. :smile:

    yeah the most reliable method to force mail to come in is change zones

    if that doesnt work, re-logging will clear the stuck mail queue

    I wouldn't blame the specific trader... it's more likely that the server was experiencing some issue at that time that delayed the mail. It sometimes happens to me too but it's not specific to any one trader as far as I can tell.

    Although I guess it's *possible* that some traders could be slower than others... perhaps related to how many people are shopping that trader at that specific time, or how many listings the trader has... but still in my experience it's more like a server hiccup / bug that can happen with any trader. It actually used to be a much more common problem where one almost always had to change zones after trader-shopping. ZoS semi-fixed it, at least it doesn't happen all the time anymore lol.

    For me changing zones always forces missing mail to appear, so I'd second the suggestion to try that.

    Yes, I've noticed that it usually solves the delay, but not this time. It was only the items bought in one specific trader that took ages to be delivered. And I relog, traveled and didn't solve it. Meanwhile I kept buying stuff and receiving from other traders and while still waiting for the first one. :smiley: That's why I assumed that some traders may be slower. Probably for the reasons you described.
