Unable to loot rare fish

Not sure if this has been reported but you are currently unable to loot rare fish, after you catch a rare and pretty the loot button the fish just disappears. You do however get credit for the catch in the rare fish achievement

I had this issue, very annoying. I have also come across nodes such as wood or plants that were un-lootable, possibly a related bug?

the node issue was explained to me as this...
With multiple "layers" of a mega server.. others are harvesting the same node as you at the same time so it may not be harvestable to you

I had the same issue yesterday of not being able to loot fish with a blue name.

I know that fishing guides that can be found in i-net isn`t official information, thats why i`m not sure its a bug, but i couldn`t loot 9 rare fishes. Yesterday fished 2 blue ones and 7 green ones, but none of them dropped into my bag. Got them only in my acievement list...

I've also experienced this: caught two different rare (green text!) fishes that didn't appear in my inventory after trying to loot them, but are marked as caught in my achievements.

My husband and I have both seen this both before the maintenance and now again after the "prep for launch" downtime.

We have not however gotten any achievements for the fish.

I fished at least 4 blue ones, but none appeared in my bags and I haven´t gotten the archivements.

There are 4 bugs they are fixing in the current downtime that they have not talked about in the patch notes

The two important ones are fixing warehouse space that has reset on some players (and they lost what was in the extra slots) and harvesting nodes on the mega server not triggers correctly. Trigger loot screen, trigger move to bags and trigger achievement should all be for the same player, but sometimes they are 'shared' over multi players at the same node (But you can't see the player as they are on a different shard)

So if you get the achievement but not the fish, someone else got the fish but not the achievement, but what should of happened is one player get both and the other get nothing.

One more bug with rare fish.
Was fishing in Auridon - fished 2 rare fishes in one time: Barbel and Zebra Oto. The last one must be fished in other location ->The Rift, not in Auridon.

Just the same bug with Jarl Salmon - fishing location The Rift, but i fished it in Auridon.

I note it is still true that on the starter islands, not only can you not loot the rare fish, but you don't get credit for it, so the fishing achievements for those are impossible to get. I tried to petition it, but they told me basically they couldn't do anything.

I'm not sure why you get credit for the others and not those, but after I read this thread, I checked and you're right: I did get credit for the one rare I caught (and couldn't loot) in Auridon.

I have gotten the error "You can't fish in werewolf form" I am not even a WW yet. /reloadui a couple of times fixes problem.

All 3 say they are a rare fish found in Coldharbour, but under the Coldharbour list these fish are no where to be found.

WTH??

Am I unable to consume since they don't exist?

If they don't exist; then why do I have them?

Coldharbour Angler - Catch all 12 rare fish types in the Coldharbour region. - The 8 green rare fish from Reaper's March will count for this, but you will still catch 8 green rare here that counts towards nothing presently.

This bug is fixed in patch 1.4 so do not bother fishing in coldharbour at the moment
