[SOLVED] Reloading entire game when switching from NA to EU megaserver

Since NA is down - and I do live in Europe anyway - I figured I would try the EU megaserver. The launcher proceeds to download the entire game again into a new folder.
- I tried renaming the original folder to "The Elder Scrolls Online EU"
- I tried copying all the files to the new folder
- I even tried using a program (Syncback) to mirror the files, preserving attributes like dates and times.
The client refuses to acknowledge the files already present and proceeds to download everything.
EDIT:
I found out that there is a tiny menu over the news feed called Game Options. Assuming you have a duplicate folder: When the launcher is updating you enter this menu and choose Cancel. Then after you cancelled the update go into the menu again and this time choose Repair.
