Does anyone know how to turn off the launcher's button sounds?

Is this on console? I don't think my (PC) launcher makes any sounds. I can't get into the game right now because of the maintenance, but I've just tried clicking around it now and nothing made any noise.

It is the new launcher that has sounds when you click on stuff. Those sounds made me downgrade it though.

You can mute it with the Windows sound mixer (right-click the speaker icon in the bottom right to open it) while the launcher is running.

Why should an application update mechanism need sound effects?

I hate the sounds the game makes when launching, but spamming ESC avoids that.

So does having my headphones off.

That's what I do too, and have done with every game in all my years of playing when the option to do so has existed. If ESC didn't work, headphones came off. Can't stand launcher sounds.

Smart, but that would require me remembering it has sounds bc no dev should put SFX in a launcher in 2023.
