Remove the lotus fan 0.4s cast time

This is mostly from a PvE support perspective. Lotus fan has the 0.4 cast time making it unusable in a lot of veteran scenarios for nightblade tanking. If an add attacks me the moment I start casting it, it's a oneshot. This morph isn't used in PvP to my knowledge and in PvE it's just used for minor vulnerability so it'd be fair to reduce the damage if needed. For example shield charge is instant and doesn't drop block.

    While I think what you say makes sense, I suspect the cast time is there because the animations needs to play out for the ability to look good.

    yeah the cast time is unnecessary, and makes it incredibly hard to use in pvp especially if there is any lag present as the first things that stop working are skills with cast times

    If the base skill wasn’t named ‘Teleport’ Strike, I would argue that if skills like Crit Rush can’t be block cast, neither should Lotus Fan, but given the fact that you’re teleporting, there’s no reason it can’t be instant.

    Cast time on this skill only serves to make it feel awful to use in any type of scenario where lag is involved, or where your targets are moving. Would be great if they could remove the cast time from it.

    Yeah definitely needs to be removed. Feels super clunky.

    Did you not see it's for PvE (where NBs need a buff and a LOT of them) and I'm fine with a nerf in damage. 5% increase over 10 seconds goes hard on a boss in veteran trials while it's miniscule in PvP. Also keep in mind the cast is only 0.4 seconds which if it were to be removed shouldn't affect PvP as the skill would still be trash over there.

    The cast time needs to be removed for PvP just as much as PvE. Gap closers should never have cast times - it does nothing for "balance" and just makes the ability not go off in any amount of lag.
