I want one thing for [holiday]. Not good will on Earth, just the ability to make a 2 handed weapon look like a one handed weapon for that sweet sweet duelist chic.

It would mask your fighting style from enemies in PvP, I have always assumed that this is why we cannot hide our weapon type with outfits.

They just need to scale the 2Handers down. The 1 Handed Swords are too big for a single hand and the 2 Handed are all massive claymores that I have no idea how our characters can swing effectively.

literally how? all the animations and shindig would be the same as with a regular 2H, only difference would be the weapon looks smaller

Nice idea, but that wouldn't work well without changing all tied-in animations, I'm afraid.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

You say that but a few years back when the outfit system was first added there was a rare bug where the weapon model would be loaded from your back bar while the animation set would be loaded from the front bar even if the types were not normally compatable
i.e. sheild + staff model, but using sheild + 1h animation set

and honestly, it looks pretty decient

Yes, it would be very surprising to see someone with a single one handed weapon, all in them, and then find out that they actually have a build.

This was a thing for one-hand and shield or Dual-Wield if you use Gloambound applied to your off-hand then activate either a channeled or casting ability it would make the off-hand or shield disappear and it would look like you're fighting with just a one-handed weapon. Strangely enough they let it go on until Arcanists showed up and soon after everyone channeled beaming, they decided to fix the issue. So for the longest time, you could be a one-handed fencer as a Templar.

funny enough Gloambound is my go to, and I was doing science with bash cancelling on a sword and shield build for the first time ever and I noticed that the shield was disappearing until bar swap when ever I would push enough buttons fast enough.

Then I read that comment and it never. happened. again.
