Death of Balreth still bugged

I've logged out, abandoned and restarted it, /reloadUI'd and nothing happens after killing Balreth. I took a tip from /zone to kill him before he hit the lava pools, that didn't do it either.

Support email from in-game haven't replied, and he even respawned just now while waiting for in-game chat support to arrive - killed him again, still no spirit to collect. (how about a queue indicator in the chat wait box?).

C'mon guys, it's really rubbing me up the wrong way now as I'm getting "go see blah blah before you do this quest line" from NPCs, but it's just all a mess of bugs. Early Access means very little at this point, what have we paid for?

If I thought it would mean things would get fixed then I'd not complain. However they had weeks to fix all the this stuff after beta, so I'm not exactly optimistic.

The total lack of communication and transparency is shocking. It's like they got into this venture without looking at the first leg to break in an MMO: community spirit.

Having said that, I've just received a support email (2 hours late but better than never. The crux is: "We are hard at work to find a way to allow you brave warriors to successfully contain his soul. We intend to lift the curse that is barring you from capturing his spirit by official launch date of April 4th".

So there you go. Early Access nets you nothing but frustration in this game.

Yeah. On the one hand I really appreciate the truth - but on the other hand /zone chat is still FULL of people going nuts over it. They need to use the bloody Launcher as a means to inform people of known issues.

I love the game but it's going to tank bad if they don't improve things, because the mass market takes no crap, they'll just mosey on along to the next game; they want fun, not frustration.

The issue is that ESO knows they have a loyal fanbase that will endure whatever punishment that they deal out. You check out all the reviews and none of them say anything bout bugged quests or all these log in/out issues, which I find kind of strange. The only negative thing I saw was mentioning the sparse UI.

Oh there's a fair few colourful reviews out there, but not much anyone can do about that. I'd just like to see things improve for the better - the fat lady isn't singing just yet, but the stage is set. There's some hard work ahead to keep her in the dressing room.
