Whole day ruined for Oceanic/Asia players part 2

Previous thread got deleted. Yup. Still going to say it again.

Server been down from 1pm till now 1145pm. One whole day for oceanic/asia players. Today is my off day and i was so looking forward to enjoying myself. Downtime is not uncommon during a new mmo launch. But still to happen on my anticipated off day is very disappointing.

My whole day ruined. Yes it is serious.

    I bet they did it just to F you and your oceanic brethren. and it had nothing to do with an emergency that came up. You should take it personally and ZoS is racist against you and your people right?

    It was deleted because there is already a huge thread about this and people are making new ones for no reason. Post to the other one.

    I know the feel. This is my day off uni and I couldn't really play.

    But there are big threads going on the situation, this is just gunna get deleted again probably.

    Yeeeeeep. And I'll say what I said in the last one. I understand people's frustration, but complaining the X region is being unfairly picked on is senseless. They have to pick the time when the server population is at it's lowest. Needs of the many and all that jazz. Or would you rather they prioritise the 10% over the 80%?

    You start off reasonably and then end it with hyperbole. It may be many things but serious it most certainly isn't.

    I could perhaps add first world problems but maybe I won't.

    As an Oceanic player myself I don't see why you are complaining. It's insane to think a company would do Maintenance during their peak hours.

    Never said he didn't have the right to complain. It's just a bit irrational to not expect maintenance during the first few weeks. It will usually be during Oceanic hours just because their are less of us. ^.^

    They shouldn't be deleting posts about this issue, it makes this into an adversarial situation, which it shouldn't be. Their attitude should be "You have every right to complain, and we're very sorry."

    Not really fashed about the downtime. I'm a bit meh about this game anyway. But I do agree with your point.

    Although maybe it got deleted in part because people were getting way to invested in insulting other people.

    The error is pretty catastrophic - I mean they had an option: take the servers down at a time that was inconvenient for you, or, let someone else continue to play the game with your character instead of theirs or your bank items instead of theirs.

    Wait, the issue was people being able to access other peoples characters from their own accounts?

    I'm annoyed about the DT too, especially since it was in the middle of the day here, but oh well.. more time for Reaper of Souls. I just hope their scheduled downtime is at a similar time to WoWs downtime for the NA server.

    Speaking of WoW, does anyone else remember it's launch? That was truly horrific, at one point Servers were down for a couple days at a time. Still ended up with a week of free time out of it in the end. By comparison, until this afternoon this launch was very smooth.

    very true would you rather play w/ bugs clitches /stuck commands every hour making your repair bill much higher or give them a day for a big hit fix, they have to upload a new version of the game to the mega-server give 24 hours if need be.

    They should add back the hours spent maintaining the server to our game time. Why do I have to pay for you to maintain the game when I have already PAID for the game upfront.

    It is indeed disappointing, 1 day of Early Access ruined (if not a day, a chunk of hours at least) but hey, if they fix it, I hope they give us something even just an ETA
