Password for this forum not working to login to main website

Came back after long time didn’t remember password or security question. I got a forgot my password sent to email and seemed to be able to change it successfully, I logged into the forum here fine, but the new password isn’t working for the main website.


I can play the game fine (am on Xbox) and I can login to the main site by using Xbox login, but the problem is I want to be able to gift my friend a dlc (and probably more in the future) but apparently to enable gifting I need to login on the main site which isn’t working.

I believe the forum and main site accounts are different for some reason

Forum is separate from game/account/support.

As mentioned above, the forums account login can be different then your login to the ESO account website.

If you are still unable to login after using the steps in this article to recover both your UserID and reset your password, then please open a ticket with us using our account recovery form.
