My boyfriend ordered the physical Imperial Edition from Gamestop, but he got the wrong preorder code, he got the 3 day code instead of the 5 day code.

So on the first day of Early Access, he was unable to log in, and we contacted support. The wait before we got the first answer wasn't that bad, only 5-6 hours. We asked for a callback but got an email though.

The answer from the CS representative told us to get a new code from Gamestop, and send the new code so it could be added to the account. It was Sunday and we found articles all over the internet saying Gamestop was out of codes, so we asked if there was any other way to do it. This email never got an answer.

Monday evening I called Gamestop and they had actually just received the 5 day early access code and that I could pick it up. I did and we were hoping that adding it to the same account ourselves would work despite the email saying to send it to them, but it, of course, did not so we sent another reply to the email with the code and secret question etc.

When there was no response hours later we made another support ticket, asking for another callback about this issue. This was still on Monday.

Tuesday we got a response basically saying "we will make sure this is processed and let you know when it is". That was it. My boyfriend responded asking for an ETA and whether or not a character he made before the correct code was added would later recieve the Imperial Edition items, after all, there were posts everywhere about not deleting characters etc so we wanted to be sure.

This e-mail has yet to be responded to. So not only don't we know when this will be fixed and if it will at all be fixed in time to add the actual retail Imperial Edition code to the account (and if that will even work if the code isn't changed), but we don't know if my BF can create a character and have access to the Imperial Edition items in hindsight. We've been waiting for a response, and in the meantime he's lost almost all the preorder early access days.

We only want one character each, and to do everything we can on those toons, and to play them together from start to finish. So neither of us have been playing the game yet.

Does anyone know for sure, if you will recieve the Imperial Edition items in the mail on a character that was created before the Imperial Edition code was added? I know that the items can only be picked up on one character in this game, so the system's different from the "all your toons get one" systems I'm used to.

If anyone's experienced the same thing and know what will happen please let us know...
