would very much like to have some reciped that are for food that are 100% plant based

as an example, bwitceh sugar skulls contain:

Bervez Juice (2) no idea what that is
Flour (5) seems plant based
Honey (5) this is not a plant based item
Scrib Jelly (2) this is def not a plant based item
Columbine (2) seems plant based

there are lots of great recipes in the game but none are 100% plant based. would def appreciate some recipes with no animal parts please and thank you!

someone under this reddit post thought bervez juice is pomegranate molasses which would be plant if true.

and there are foods that only have plant ingredients, but i guess they're not the popular foods.

    why no animal parts?
the food is gone immediately when used and you can always buy the ingredients if you don't want to kill virtual animals

Roast corn.. There you have one that requires no meat and can be cooked at level 1...

If your want something exotic then you will have to look for more recipes, but the one mentioned above IS plant based only as it requires only corn to make.

An animal product is any material derived from the body of a non-human animal. Examples are fat, flesh, blood, milk, eggs, and lesser known products, such as isinglass and rennet.

Honey and milk are not plant-based, they are animal products. For the purposes of most vegan diets, insects count as animals.

You didn't ask for vegan. You asked for plant-based. Both are made by animals through the consumption of plant matter, that being pollen and grasses respectively. Neither involves the harm of the animals making it to harvest.

I'm not the OP. And 100% plant-based means no animal products. A lot of vegans look for it. They are an animal product because they come from an "animal."

So, Bervez juice is not a defined item. So, you can head canon it as plant-based, I suppose. I don't how much it helps.

Considering its used in Furnishings, I'm tempted to say that its food coloring. :)

    Its in Shadowkey as well.

I thought 'plant based' meant mainly plants but not as strict as vegetarian or vegan.

That's how I've always seen it used; a plant based diet is one where the vast majority of things you eat are plants, but you're not going to worry about things like a food colouring made from beetles or wine that uses animal-derived filtering materials.

So something like the Sugar Skulls where the scrib jelly is basically geletin would be plant based, but not vegetarian or vegan.

But even if you're looking for vegan foods there's a lot. Just for CP150 foods (the highest level) using the table on UESP I found:
    • Thrice-Baked Gorapple Pie
    • Tomato Garlic Chutney
    • Bravil's Best Beet Risotto
    • Hearty Garlic Corn Chowder
    • Tenmar Millet-Carrot Couscous
    • Grapes and AshYam Falafel
    • Late Hearthfire Vegetable Tart

I'm actually surprised we don't have more which are only animal parts, to accomodate the Bosmer who follow the Green Pact.

No this is def twisting the meaning. Also op says 100% plant based to purposefully prevent the meaning being twisted. A plant based diet is a diet based on plants only. A 100% plant based diet is a diet based on plants only with 100% added for emphasis because people want to twist the meanings of words. Also, vegan and veganism can't be used as the are specific to religion and religious discussions are verboten on these forums. So that means the only language left is 100% plant based.

For me personally the great thing about RPGs is that you can ignore your RL ethics for a bit without any repercussions. Of course it would be great if you could roleplay a nature loving druid/ranger though. Options are always good.

I've envisioned a sort of "Animal Kinship" passive somewhere in the green tree that puts all animals in the neutral faction (with a yellow healthbar) so they don't aggro. It's not a perfect solution, because some quests require animal slaughter, and ranged abilities still seem to target priority rats and squirrels and such. 🙄 But I think it'd help.

If I may have a moment, it bothers me that animals that are notoriously cautious, like wolves, are placed in the enemy faction just because they're carnivores. Meanwhile, herbivorous ungulates, your deer and so forth, are always docile, even though they can be aggressive. I don't like killing any animals, and that includes the indriks, but I appreciate that the indriks subvert the narrative and will mess you up.

    True.

But last time I tried to shove plants into my computer to make a recipe, I had to replace the computer, so I guess there are no only plant based recipes in any games.

I have to ignore my real life ethics (and personality) in TES games and most other RPGs because they almost always involve killing people. I sincerely hope I'm never in a situation where I have to kill someone else to save my life and even then I'm not sure I could, but outside of that I don't think I ever could or would. So my characters have to be different to me, otherwise they'd never accept the vast majority of quests.

(Even when I was playing Mansions of Madness I kept being told off for wanting to try talking to axe-wielding maniacs, demonic cultists etc. instead of fighting them. The rest of the group kept having to tell me it's not that sort of game, so no, there was no option for a peaceful resolution.)
