Is there in-game voice chat available for PC?

Quick question. With the new group finder that has voice chat options. (See title)
Also in relating to that is there a way to enable and disable voice chat on PC for the in-game settings?

I prefer not to use discord or any other social media as I don't have it.

Other games such as League of Legends and World of warcraft have their own built in in-game voice chat options. I'm looking for a way to enable in-game voice chat for PC in eso.

Sorry, there is no voice chat for PC ESO.

Suits me fine, but I know others would prefer if there was one, such as in Fallout 76.
Like LunaFlora suggested, a third party app is really the only way at this stage

I don't feel comfortable using social media app for voice chat. I tried using discord 4 years ago and I didn't like it because of very bad experiences. As a result I left discord and blocked it.

My post is kind of a suggestion. To add in in-game voice chat that's built in for those who don't feel comfortable using discord and to make it easier to connect with others while playing the game without typing in the text box. It's more for convenience.

I suggested it so that way there would be no need for discord. Not everyone has it and uses it.

@ZOS_Bill please close this thread. I'm not going to post suggestions anymore because no one is getting it and I keep on having to repeat myself.

i don't get why you made it a poll with a title like "Is there in-game voice chat available for PC?" if it's supposed to be a suggestion.

if the title was something like "i would like built-in voice chat on pc" I'd agree and would say good idea.
but you asked if there is voice chat on pc and that you prefer not to use social media as you don't have it.

so then of course people told you that there's no voice chat on pc and that people use discord for it.


please do post suggestions.
just make sure the title and post matches the post that you want? this post and its title was a question so people answered your question.

Discord is so popular on PC that an in-game option would probably just cause unnecessary drama. Back before Discord became the de facto standard for PC voice chat, I remember guilds being practically torn apart by Ventrilo versus TeamSpeak versus Discord wars. Just about every guild now using Discord has made me for a lot smoother experience, If ZOS added their own voice chat, and it suddenly became a big fight over whether to use Discord or ZOSChat, I would not care for it.
