What's so awful about the downtimes?
It's going to happen till the rough road starts to even out and Zen can work out a regular schedule for patching and maintenance issues, right now expect to see these sudden disconnects for patching and maintenance for at least a month after release.
Happens with every MMO that's released!

The op's problem is that downtime hit. So he drank and ate and now is out of goodies. Pizza is important to gaming. Beer...eh, not for me. I am however, running low of whiskey, never a good sign.
