Potential Junk Marking Bug

I've noticed that, once I've sold all the crap I've right-click-marked as junk, when I find more of them they're not marked as junk anymore. So I have to go through my inventory right-clicking them all again. Seems... counter-intuitive. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is it supposed to work that way? Remembering your junk, or only while you have it in inventory?

Obviously the best way would be to remember, but I am just thinking out loud here, because what may be junk on one character may not be junk on another.

Oh, I must not have been clear. I meant, Character A marks junk. She sells all her junk. She finds more crap identical to what she marked and sold but they aren't marked anymore.
