I'd suggest it would be like degraded armour or depleted weapons; you don't actually get warned, you get TOLD once they are degraded/depleted, which is too late.dragonlord500 wrote: »Zos could do something special and add a bag icon where all the other warning icons are and this icon will show when you only have like 5 or 10 slots left in your bag.

Some warning when your weapons are low charge or armour is close to being worn out would be nice, but we have to take some responsibility for ourselves.
At least for fishing this issue is nonexistent. If you can't loot a trophy fish due to full inventory, simply destroy any crap you don't need. Then fish again and you'll catch exactly the same trophy fish. It's an implemented mechanic.

This very scenario happened to me, no I did not catch the trophy fish again right away, in fact it took another 20 minutes of fishing to get the rare. It is not a good system.
There is a HUGE problem with things like fishing or even trying to talk to remains silent to get a rare item in which if your inventory is full and you didn't realize it would be, you're screwed out of the item.
Imagine trying to fish for an hour, you need that blue rare, you get it but your inventory is full. Can you do anything about it? NOPE
Been talking to remains silent hoping to get that rare item? Inventory full? OH WELL!
Please find a way to fix this.

I think it would be a handy qol feature if one could go to settings->interface and toggle 'show inventory' with configurable colours and numbers for 'green', 'amber' and 'red' status - just a simple current_inventory_used : maximum_inventory_spaces number, coloured(customisable) so a quick glance could broadly inform of current inventory state.

Or we could just type "i" and look at the number at the bottom of the screen.

meh, too slow.
Anyway, why not have the feature? Wouldn't stop you from going slow-mode, if you wanted.

It takes 2 seconds or less.
Players should get into the habit of clearing out their bags before going fishing or entering a dungeon or any activity that generates loot.

Please elaborate what issue specifically or problem having such a feature would cause you, given that, as described, it would be optional?
