The Elder Scrolls Online v9.2.3 continues to address bugs and feedback within in Infinite Archive, with the most noteworthy change being the removal of a Stage so you will now fight through 2 Stages instead of 3 before encountering a Cycle or Arc boss. We’ve also made a few additional adjustments to some Class Sets and fixed a number of issues involving the Group Finder. The size of this patch is approximately 358MB.

    Event Testing: Whitestrake’s Mayhem
Whitestrake's Mayhem returns to Cyrodiil and the Imperial City! This year, you no longer need to use the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity to get your buffs during the event; all bonuses are now passive in the appropriate worlds while the event is running. Additionally, the previous experience bonus for killing players is now a general +100% XP earned in all Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battleground worlds.
    • Pelinal’s Boon Boxes are rewarded for completing daily quests in Cyrodiil or Imperial City district daily quests, or as a bonus reward with Rewards for the Worthy mails you receive.
      • These boxes contain treasures ranging from Tel-Var Stones to Cyrodiil repair kits or soul gems, as well as a chance for Cyrodiil style pages, Daedric siege weapons, transmute geodes.
      • You may also receive a tradeable style page for the new Dovah’s Du’ul outfit style. If you’ve already earned one on a given day, you can instead get pages of the Sancre Tor Sentry weapon style.
    • You can earn a total of 3 Event Tickets per day during this event. The first 2 come from completing any daily quest that focuses on Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds. You may earn an additional ticket by completing an Imperial City District daily quest.
    • This Mayhem, you will also have a chance to find returning Sancre Tor Sentry armor style and Gloamsedge armor style pages from Imperial City bosses and sweepers.
    • The Bag of Veteran’s Glory this season contains the following offerings from previous Mayhems:
      • Legion Zero Armor Style Pages
      • Alliance Banner Emotes
      • Second Legion Armor Style Pages
      • Banner-Bearer Shields and Staves Pages
      • Legion Zero Vigiles Armor Style Pages
      • Black Drake’s Body/Face Warpaint
      • Ebonsteel Knight Armor Style Pages
      • Black Drake Clanwrap Style Pages
      • Battle-Scared Body/Face Markings
      • House Dufort Banneret Armor Style Pages
      • Tools of Domination Weapon Style Pages
    • The Impresario will have bound style pages for the Dovah’s Du’ul outfit for 5 tickets each. Also available will be all three fragments of the Molag Bal Imp Pet as well as the first and second fragments of the Planemeld’s Master body and face markings (a single morph that grants both collectibles).

    Item Sets
    • Basalt-Blooded Warrior: This set does not currently interact properly with bar swapping while the set is only active on one bar in some cases.
    • Gardner of Seasons: This set is currently undergoing internal adjustments to make the set simpler to understand and use.
      • Our goals are to simplify the conditions necessary to enter Harbinger of Fall, while making its action requirement more appropriate for the defensive bonuses it offers, since it currently may be needed in the heat of the moment but requires a minimum time investment to enter.
      • In addition to this, we plan on exchanging the Major Maim it provides to Major Cowardice, so it does not suffer from sharing named effects with other class sets.
      • Finally, we also plan on reducing the duration of time investment for Harbinger of Fall from 10 seconds to 6 seconds, so it is easier to swing between Fall and Spring, while also allowing you to refresh Fall so if you require more drawn out defensive windows, you still have the opportunity to do so.
    • Monolith of Storms:
      • This set’s damage currently ignores Line of Sight.
      • A preliminary fix has been found for this set’s inability to Critically Strike but requires more thorough testing before implementing it.
    • Wrathsun: This set is currently undergoing internal investigations to slightly reduce its maximum stack count, to increase the frequency of its effects and to slightly reduce its passive resource recovery power.

    Arcanist
    • Curative Runeforms
      • Vitalizing Glyphic
        • Resonating Glyphic (morph): This morph now requires you to be in combat to activate the Ultimate.
          Developer Comment:
Since this morph changes the target context of what you’re summoning to be an attackable “enemy” rather than the standard allied target, we’ve found that casting this Ultimate morph has been contributing to some “in combat” state confusion where players are in combat for simply casting the Ultimate even with no nearby foes, while simultaneously allowing others to circumvent “while in combat” requirements of certain effects like item sets or special abilities. To correct both of these issues, we’re making the change to require you to already be in combat before placing the Ultimate. This should help remove those pesky situations where you accidentally activate the Ultimate while trying to loot a chest and then get stuck in combat with your group, clamp down on the pre-buffing opportunities it was offering, while not disrupting the intended use of the Ultimate to act as a powerful heal and buff for you and your allies.

    Class Sets
    • Monolith of Storms: Fixed an issue where this set was treated as single target direct damage, rather than Area of Effect Damage over Time.
    • Nobility in Decay: This set no longer grants Minor Resolve and Minor Protection in addition to Beautiful Corpse. Instead of these Minor buffs, it now grants you up to 12% Healing Taken and reduces your damage taken by up to 12%, both of which are based on your missing Health.
      Developer Comment:
Much of the feedback from this set has been that the bonuses it provides are not nearly impactful enough to justify its use, despite Beautiful Corpse being an interesting effect that allows for some clever and new uses of the Necromancer toolkit. In order to reinforce the Necromancer’s defiance of Death itself, we’ve added more aptly powerful and thematic bonuses to help them gain some potent staying power in battle.
    • Soulcleaver:
      • This set’s bonuses to damage and healing done with Siphoning abilities no longer scale based on your Ultimate, and instead offer a flat 18% increase in damage and healing done and Cost Reduction for Siphoning abilities.
      • This set no longer requires you to actively have 20 Ultimate to gain its effects (including the Ultimate drain). As such, this set now also applies to the Ultimate abilities from the Siphoning skill line.
      Developer Comment:
Originally during testing, this set went through many iterations to try and avoid behavior where the set could enable Nightblades to become incredibly powerful in areas they have not been; many restrictions and regulations were put in place to attempt to quell issues. As the set went to the PTS and we began receiving feedback, much of this feedback was pointed at how overly complicated the set seemed to be. As such, we’ve simplified the set immensely while also easing back on its ceiling potential, correcting both some of the insane power the class obtained when not using their Ultimate, while also allowing the set to fit into the normal play patterns Nightblade is traditionally played – where it can utilize Ultimates more rapidly than most other classes due to its passives and costs. It’s our hope that the set still remains impactful at enabling Nightblades to tap into the Siphoning power fantasies more effectively, with an outcome that is simpler to use and understand.
[*]Wrathsun: Removed the persistent sound effects from equipping 5 or more pieces of this set.

    • General
      • You will now fight through two Stages, rather than three, before encountering a Cycle or Arc boss.

        • Each boss will pull from the available overland sets associated with these zones.
      • Updated rewards for the following quests:
        • “The Margins of Ire” will now award a container with one of each type of Verse consumable, rather than a random Class Set Item.
