Hi, Xbox player here w/ no access to PTS
How does Basalt Blooded Warrior work if you only have it slotted on one bar?

i havent been on the pts, not sure if it requires being double barred

i know for sure from testing reports that the buff is lost upon bar swap anyway, im assuming you want to 1 bar it for the heroism buff

As of PTS Patch v9.2.2:

If you have it on your front bar, it will apply the Major Heroism buff when an Earthen Heart ability is used on the front bar and the buff will apply to your other bar as well for the remainder of the duration.

If you have it on your back bar, it will apply the Obsidian Stance buff and the buff will apply to your other bar as well for the remainder of the duration.

Do note that duration is now 10 seconds rather than 20 seconds for the buffs.

So, the buff stays, I got that part, but your wording is very confusing: Does the stance change if only slotted on 1-bar or is it permanently one stance or the other?

Front bar is one stance, back bar is the other. If you slot it only on one bar, the bar you slot it on is probably the stance you get.

So, what happens if you have the set on the body and an earthen heart skill on both bars? Do they replace each other? Or, can both buffs be up at once?

The buffs replace each other.

If you run it on body, it automatically changes your stance.

If you run it 1 bar on weapons, the effect of that bar carries over on bar swaps until the effect runs out

@RaptorRodeoGod are you saying if I front bar it, get the major heroism buff, and swap to back bar I will still have major heroism buff?

Yes, as long as you don't have the set on your backbar too. I tested it when it had the 20 second duration and before the Jorvuld fix, but I expect it to function the same now.

It certainly makes an interesting option for dps if you use the "Front Bar" as your "Back Bar"

I'll have to test this with back bar as "front bar" on a dk healer then. Fragmented shield plus earthen stance is a 30% healing buff. And shields would get a 29% bonus to with this buff plus bastion cp star.
