Craft Tree needs an UPDATE.

How about a perk to increase the amount of stolen items you can launder and sell?

Yes, I know, there are important events and all to keep us hooked up - not that I mind - BUT this would be a lil' QoL improvement to the 'Craft' Tree.

Sounds like 'Adventure' would be a viablew option. Unless thievery is a 'craft'.

Anyway, is there anyone in ZOS who could do that? Please?

    Are you already aware, that the demanded passives already exist? You find them in "world -> legerdemain".

    The are a few additional passives for members of the thieves guild as well.

    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

    Thievery is indeed a craft, and it's certainly included among the meanings of the word covered by the Crafting tree. The tree is all about spending less and gaining more in a variety of skills. When it comes to thievery, the Crafting tree increases fence prices and the chances to get better pickpocketing loot. It also reduces bribes and sneak cost, and it offers additional opportunities to escape when committing crimes. Thievery is right at home there.

    While it's true that the Crafting tree sometimes offers perks that stack with guild or world skill lines, like how Infamous stacks with Haggling, it seems ZOS thinks that the Trafficker passive in Legerdemain (mentioned above) already offers enough daily transactions. I would be surprised if they hadn't considered adding a CP for it, and if they did, they must have chosen against it.

    With a full roster of 20 characters, you can fence 2800 items per day and launder another 2800 more with that passive maxed out. Even the first level more than doubles your daily limit, from 50 items to 110 per character (for each of fencing and laundering).

    @Braffin:

    Yes, I do know. Have been playing it since 2019 and done TG questline once or twice.

    The daily cap is 140. So this is 60 slots less than the total amount of slots available, i.e. 200.

    @virtus753:

    Agreed ^^.

    Guys, what you're saying is not new to me - but I can appreciate that, if I were a newbie, I would have been very much pleased how you explained it all quite succintly.

    What I am aiming is that Warfare and Fitness tree have had a few reworks, for goog od bad, whatever. But they've received sub-trees.

    Here are my ideas - https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/594079/idea-craft-cp-sub-tree-ideas-constant-wip#latest

    The extra 60 inventory slots are from fat horse. But how about they add a task of doing 4 months more of horse feeding for 60+ fencing riding skill and 60+ laundering riding skill for every character in game. I'm sure some players would love that.

    Only if optional. I have no use for TG stuff, and would really resent an extra 120 days added to what's already there just for TG benefits.

    What does that even mean, all of mount training is already optional.

    That would lead to even more inflation, i already can abuse the heck out of it.

    It's not optional for me. I train 180 days on every alt I make. So adding 120 days to that would also not be optional for me. I get a bit OCD about "unfinished" things like that.

    It couldn't. I tried in the beginning (like 7 years back now) to not do this every day. Didn't work. Then I tried stopping speed at 20, stam at 40, and not doing carry at all. That didn't work either....

    I'm not officially diagnosed with OCD - but some things produce that feeling that if I don't do something "fully" (like riding training), I'm not doing things right.

    Which is why I'd like it to be a perk from the Craft tree, slottable and not mandatory, but still an option, as we do grind to get 3600 CP either way.
