For those that said "logout" or "play other games" I went through a veeeeeeery long period recently where I did that.

I logged in for as many days as I needed to get the "good" reward from the daily log ins. So there was about half a month I didn't log in at all each month.

The thing is, I want to play this game. I do love it. I love TES and Tamriel as a world. I want more reasons to stay here.

I have been commiting to the endeavours more, I like that those do give us another task to do.
Sometimes with the daily quests, once I've done the same one a handful of times I don't really want to do it again.

Yes, there's an event on and I always try and make the most of the events. Though, when it's gone it's gone and it's back to normal.

I did try going after some more achievements. I go for the ones with dyes mostly. I don't have an interest in collecting any more titles (I am very attached to the one I use), and with no reward some achievements aren't worth grinding for for me personally. I don't see my "total achievement points" as any kind of goal, it's just a number to me with little significance.

*The point of posting this question was to see what you guys do. For some inspiration on other things I could maybe look to do myself.
You might still have loads of things to do; a whole new playthrough on an alt? But you want to do something else for a while instead.

playing on alts definately is an option.
I have 72 characters, 2 accounts, 2 servers, so 4 logins with 18 on each.
This - beside daily worldbosses, kept me most engaged.
All classes, mag and stam, learning what makes each special.
Unfortunately the "balancing" and nerfs made the differences very small, in the end I ended up turning all my mag toons into heavy staff attack builds, so a nightblade feels more or less like a templar.

On my second account, I did not optimize the races, instead use a "clone army" of Eveli type female woodelves, as I love how cute they act/sound. Levelling up those actually was the most fun in the 5 years I "actively" played.

I’ve been playing for five years and most of my 48 characters (two accounts/both servers each) are for solo play. As I can’t complete Necrom properly without completing mythics and bastion nymics, I gave in and made my arcanists damage dealers. During the Undaunted event, I finally plucked up the courage to use the dungeon finder and found it’s a lot of fun.

I am always so busy with training, Endeavors, dailies, PVP, writs, housing etc, I hardly have any time to relax. At the end of each day, when there is not enough time to start anything but I don’t want to leave, I run along the coast in Summerset harvesting and watch the sea for a while.

Logout and do something else, no one game no matter how big it is, is going to be able to be your sole source of entertainment forever, especially when you focus all your spare time on it.

I play other games, watch shows/movies, read, play with the dog, go into town browse the shops etc...

Take 50k out of my bank, spend it all on cheap (below 1k each) treasure maps, then go on a grand tour of Tamriel, collecting the treasure chests and accumulating fat stacks of mats along the way. Then I list the mats and make a few million gold. I find it very relaxing, and the gold is just a nice bonus.

If we exclude group content and PvP, then probably daily writs on alts, and homekeeping on alts: getting skyshards, fixing their gear and skills, making outfits, etc., also, going node farming in a zone I like, or housing on the PTS.

As a player that has one character, has completed most quests (just Galen and Necrom are left), and has lost the passion they used to have for PvP.... if I want to be on ESO but already did all my regular dailies and "don't have anything to do", I find something to do. A lot of my downtime in ESO is usually used for housing, but my recent house is pretty much complete so I've been trying to get all the larcenist achievements instead and some other random achievements. I've also been farming writ vouchers in preparation for the master crafting stations. I've been leveling companions and trying to get all the achievements for them. I was working on ToT ranks and it's achievements awhile ago but kind of got burnt-out on it, haha.

Basically, there is a lot to do in most MMOs and I highly doubt the majority of players have done "everything". Honestly, it sounds more like the problem isn't ESO lacking things to do.... but simply that it doesn't have the things you would like to do. I'd recommend playing RuneScape since it tends to have the more busy work features that you described wanting in ESO, I know I play it from time to time when I'm in the mood for that kind of gameplay.

Depends on my mood. Right now, I'm feeling like I have nothing to do in-game, so I'm playing BG3. I was excited at the prospect of the Hollowjack Indrik, but of course it's a limited time offer. So I'm not getting any more tickets from this event. I'm not sure what to work towards at this point. I have a characters decked out in trial gear, most of them have completed the game. Feels like a good time for a break.

In the past, I've reached out to guildies/friends or just worked on stickerbook.

start a new playthrough and pretend it is your first time playing the game..

works every time still entertained by faction quests and some dlc..

also if you really want to up the fun factor then build a character background to fit a less meta or more traditional playstyle. a new perspective on combat is not only potentially fun but also productive as far as learning mechanics goes..

Except for logging in and getting the daily reward, I don't generally do the same thing every day. Because I don't do everything all the time, it means that I can always do one thing instead of another. I might go through periods where I do a lot of farming, and periods where I do almost no farming. Same with writs, and quests, and dungeons, and houses, and all that stuff. I am not doing all that stuff all the time, every day, and this game is large enough where I don't have to be in the same place doing different things, either. The game just needs to have lots of elbow room.

This pretty much eliminated "burn out" for me. These days, my decision to not play, or more accurately, scale back on how much I play, is based more on something ZOS does, or doesn't do, than on burn out or being tired of playing the game.

There is so much content I haven't completed yet, despite playing daily since 2017, that I don't think I'll ever run out of things to do in the game. But there are certainly times when I'm "just not feeling it," and rush to complete my daily "must dos" so I can log out and play Daggerfall.

Nevertheless, even when I'm not feeling much drive to accomplish anything in particular in the game, I can pick any zone to run around and quickly get wrapped up in the game. Sometimes the most fun I have is just wandering around in a zone doing nothing in particular, just enjoying the beauty of the zone, revisiting delves or other sites that I've played through before but might not have seen in a long while, etc.
