I havn't found a physical portal location for it, but just been clicking into it- thats it. Not sure if this is a 'feature' for it to not have a physical world location.

Apocrypha is a Necrom zone, right? Which would mean that the Archive, if accessed from a zone included in the Necrom chapter, is only available to those to have already purchased the Necrom chapter. I thought the Archive was available as a base game addition, but this leads me to believe otherwise. Am I understanding this correctly, or am I missing something?

Speaking as someone who doesn’t have Necrom presently, you can still view the Apocrypha map without owning the Chapter, and the icon is visible on the map. Click it and it will take you in.

Endless Archive can be accessed in one of two ways:
For Necrom Chapter owners, head north from the Speiran Tarn Wayshrine along the coast of Apocrypha.
For non-chapter owners, navigate to the icon on your map for Apocrypha and use that to enter.

The physical entrance is north of the Runemaster's Acropolis World Boss site, hidden in a cave by the shoreline.

This has never been how dungeon DLC works for future reference. If you have the dungeon DLC (or in this case, are an ESO player lol), you can teleport directly to the dungeon even if you don't own the zone that said dungeon/arena/EA is in.

There is a path North by Northwest of the Speiran Tarn Wayshrine. Follow this path to the shoreline and then go west along the shore to a cave entrance. While the path exists on the live servers, the cave does not. The portal to the Endless Archive is at the bottom of the cave.
