Severe Client Issues

Hello,

I've been trying to install ESO for 2 days now and I keep getting errors such as 'WebGetrequest failed' and 'Reliable source serving corrupt data'.

The initial download and install went fine (roughly the 22GB download), but ever since it started on this 5GB file, this is where the problems have come.

It will be downloading fine and then will just restart and go back to the 25% mark which is the start of the 5GB download. There isn't a certain time or percentage that it skips back, it's completely random, the furthest I've gotten was 100MB remaining but since then it's happened at around the 3-4GB remaining.

I've tried restarting the client, my computer and the router, none of which stopped the issue.

In total I have downloaded 9.2GB from this patcher failures alone, and as you can imagine it is extremely frustrating, especially when all I want to do is get into the game and play, but I don't think that will be happening before launch which is disappointing.

Images showing the errors.

    Heres a few possible fixes

    -Run Launcher as Adminstrator.
    -Disable Anti-Virus software and Firewall.
-Change Region from EU to NA depending on your location.
    -Turn off Anti-Malware programs
    -Restart PC
    -Attempt different compatibility modes
-Open your Router Port for ZOS Servers using port numbers : 24100 through 24500 as well as 24131 through 24507 for both TCP and UDP

    Hope I helped.

Ah that error message was in the beta. I heard reinstalling fixed it.

Hmm... Might have to wait until launch and get my physical copy. Reinstall will take too long to download.
Thank you for your assistance @Zilyana‌ :-)

Try again in a few hours. I've known games with odd little 'build-up' errors like this to magically sort themselves out. Or wait till next patch and just update your client it could provide a fix if you don't want to re-download.

    Happy to help :)
