In our guild, we had a few people donate cash via Paypal.

I'm not saying they shouldn't resolve the issue. But there IS a way to avoid it all coming out of the GM's pocket.
A few guildies chipping in to gift the Mundus Stones worked just fine for us. Doing it via crown gifting still means someone paid RL $$ to get them lol.

Oh right.. Crown Store.
Yes... Yes they do. Considering they sell houses for 140$ The stones ONLY cost 60$ in total.
[snip]
There is like 12 mundus stones i think?

There are 13..
Regardless, OP, I don't think that's much of an issue. Every guild house already has them, a lot of individual layers have them, everyone knows at least someone who hast them, so the problem only applies to more or less new players who want to form a guild from scratch. And those players need to find a work around for the time being.

Well no new fully stocked guilds seems like a problem to me. The guilds are the best thing about the game. Making it harder/more expensive to have a complete guildhouse is a problem.

I understand why people are upset about gifting being disabled and I hope they'll resolve it.
I just don't see this specific issue as a big one to overcome for the time being. In any well-run guild, I promise if they asked members to contribute a mundus or two by donating a few dollars, they'd have a full collection in no time.
The cost of Mundus hasn't changed. RL currency is involved either way.

It's not like people don't have access to them if they aren't in the guild house. For another, you don't need all 13. Thief, ritual, and atronach will cover 90% of all players.

Wrong. There are also additional items like aetherial wells, trial dummies, etc. etc.
It's going to limit the community if guilds can only be formed by people who can afford to put them together solo.

The title of the thread and 90% of the discussion is literally about mundas stones. A well costs 3k and a dummy 6k. A single yearly eso + sub can cover a dummy, the well, and I think 2 mundas stones, which is a decent start for any guild house.

I understand what you're saying, but your points are still wrong to make a real viable solution. Limiting guild creation to people willing to give money through paypal is bad for the community.

Gah! I thought just donating in-game covered everything. I hope ZOS fixes this! Or at the very least makes sure there is a away to donate crowns to the guild bank.
This news is a super blow to those of us still trying to complete our guild halls. (Gosh, it is so expensive to get everything! I can only hope they deliver that mega crafting table set or at least give a more definitive date to help soften the blow.) But I can say with certainty that I will not be paying $80 USD to buy the last two stones nor will I encourage any of my guildees to do anything like send me money via PayPal, etc. It's super expensive for one, and it's also just absurd to me that that's the only option left for the "foreseeable" future.

Donating def can (well, did) help!
