Some of these companion disproval triggers are just dumb.

I'm going to pick up that violet coprinus whether you like it or not Azander!
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

Biggest irritation for me is the game telling you to do something that will damage your rapport with them without telling you it will damage your rapport. Classic example is getting a writ to make a cheese plate and then Bastian has a fit.

(And, like, why? No one's asking him to eat it.)

Also, the idea of of Bastian being lactose intolerant is so anachronistic and not part of the world of Tamriel that it's really jarring when he talks about it.

This is the real problem, right here., and for the most part, I would probably just despawn any companion that had an issue with the thing that I needed to do, such as Bastian with needing to do a cheese plate in your example.
And, Andazar is definitely not ever going to be used during any daily or weekly endeavor when I have to collect alchemy ingredients or 100 or more materials from the world, because I'm sure as heck not going to try to "conveniently avoid" mushroom nodes just for his benefit! That will make it take longer, and I am going to get it done as quickly as possible and collect everything that I can from every node available!
