It occurred to me that with Baldur's Gate, Starfield, and Phantom Liberty this year, the ESO sans-content update coming out this fall is pretty far down on my list of things to be interested in. It isn't sounding like ZOS is going to be doing anything interesting until next year.

Believe me when I say I have all of those games on my list also. (I'm taking a few days off to play Starfield.)
But the The Endless Archive is pretty interesting and a good way to close out the year. You know, when you need a palette cleanser between all of those new big AAA titles. Like coming back home after travelling to a few different places.

They fixed the floating rocks in Skyrim, what more could you possibly want

Retroactively add companions to older contents like Orsinium, Summerset, Vvardenfell, and Greymoor One can dream. I could actually see that next year with the races that are currently missing. Orc, Altmer, Bosmer, and Nord respectively.

After completing the quest for the Precursor and receiving the target dummy, you speak to him again and he becomes your companion. All of his abilities would be based off of Clockwork and Dwemer abilities and armor sets like Engine Guardian, Sentinel of Rkugamz, Stonekeeper and Mad Tinkerer. Since you went to all the hassle of rebuilding him, he has no further quest steps and is already at max rapport. Also, his appearance can only be changed with Apostle, Dwemer and Refabricated armor pieces. (I think I'm forgetting one more clockwork/dwarven themed style)

Or even just a factotum companion from clockwork city, make it so you'd have to scavenge for parts to repair it and once you do you have a clanking companion to follow & annoy you.

With unique dialogue, e.g. "I've got this terrible pain in all the diodes down my left hand side".Alphawolf01A wrote: »I had an idea similar to this. This year has been a stellar year for games indeed! I'd argue probably the best year in gaming we've had in a while. Enjoy it all!

Love this my man! Beyond pumped for the endless archive. Going to fit in perfectly after pumping some time into starfield. Will still login to ESO daily but will be splitting time between the two! Cheers to you and the team! Have a nice weekend and thanks for the update

The endless archive and all-in-one set stations are going to be INCREDIBLE features. Super pumped for another end game gameplay loop and some cool rewards!
Interested to see more about base game updates or any other QOL features that may be coming? 👀

That is already what you have to do to get the Precursor. You have to search Tamriel for 15 pieces of the Precursor and reassemble it.
