Same here. I didn't find leveling up scrying particularly onerous, and it's given me some great house furniture pieces over the last few years.Would LOVE to skip this leveling proccess cause it's TOO slow and boring and unfun and plus dont have the time/pateint
you not having the time and not being patient is the problem. I love scrying and think the leveling process is very rewarding and paced well. I only have 1 char who maxed out scrying/excavation but that's OK, each character can be specialized in their own things.
The Greymoor chapter was released May 2020, so all the development would have been done pre-COVID.WrathOfInnos wrote: »It is boring and slow for old players too. Not to mention the loss of immersion when you are forced to play hours of a lame mobile game instead of actual ESO. I suspect it only exists because large team projects were difficult during pandemic quarantine, but app minigames were easy to develop.

Well, it's not a requirement.

Yeah, but that first character is a pain in the [snip]. I recently did this on my PS4, which owned Greymoor but I stopped playing on it before I did antiquities on any character. If you look up "Grind" in the MMO dictionary, it refers you to ESO Antiquities as an example.

I don't think the first character is such a pain. Leveling it on an alt, though, that is pain. You get no purple antiquities to dig then, unless you missed some on your first.

As I prefer HA builds, my builds are not very strong, as I don't have Oakensoul as a result. One of the main reason why I play ESO only casually now, cancelled my ESO+, and subbed to a different game, where I spend my money now.
