    Too much is too much.

i dont think they should get rid of events entirely, but it definitely feels like there are too many/too frequent

it used to be there was only the holiday events (new life, witches, jesters, +1 other event featuring some other content)

now it feels like theres almost 2 events per month, some of which even run up next to each other for extra long event periods (jester + anniversary for example, thats like 3 weeks of event)

I am always glad when an event comes to the end. Not that I would not like them, some are really nice and you can get usefull items, but its... stress. I always get the feeling to miss something when I dont do the event quests, but in the end it just gets a little annoying.

No, I was enjoying replaying Stonefalls then this FOMO event comes along and ruins it. Way too profitable to dismiss. Too many events. New Life, Witches Festival, Anniversary and the Midyear event is more than enough. They're also too long. A weekend would be enough. This event was too much being forced to group up and socialise. It's not as simple as getting a few boxes and then leaving, especially if you created the group. I'm glad it's over. I need a loooong break from the game now.

I think 6-8 events a year is the sweet spot. One essentially every month is too much, and the back-to-back events make playing the game feel like a chore. Events should be special, not as common as Foul Hides and Zero value gear.

There can be some mini events between current events plan. Those events can provide 0 tickets but can still get a purple box every day or some events just give double exp.

I'm already burned out from so many events. Lately the rewards barely motivate or interest me personally, so during Zeal of Zenithar, I've been doing the bare minimum to get the tickets, if that.

I need my breaks. There are a few events that I don't spend much time on, but the ones that I really invest in, I do not want back-to-back. There is also the added risk of lower rewards if there are more event days, making breaks even more difficult.

There needs to be an "other" option. As has been stated, burnout can be a real thing, so the MAIN events I wouldn't want to last that long. However, I do think ESO has reached a point with many of it's players that a little something would be nice. Double exp/AP weekends, double resource weeks. Things of that nature need to happen a bit more often.

A ticket-earning event on at all times? Hell no. Some minor event without tickets and collectable items just to spice things up a little, on the other hand, could be nice. An example of that is the explorers' event, with double gold, mats and xp. Devs could come up with something similar, though more limited, such as double mats in this or that zone for a few days, dailies from this or that zone drop double reward coffers for a limited time, etc.

To me there's already too many events going constantly, most are almost the same formula even adding to it. The only event I'm waiting for is MYM being a PvE main, as it's actually makes me play and enjoy the game instead of chasing a ticket to log off right after.

There needs to be down-time, figuratively speaking, between events.

Going from one event directly into another would burn people out and make the forums even worse than they are with increased complaining about there being too many events.

There needs to be *less stuff that people can get from events*.

One of the worst ideas ever have been the "morphable" stuff for which you need to buy the basic item 3-4 times in a year AND morph it every time.

A moratorium on new stuff that costs event tickets. Let "catching up" be a practical thing.

And more *useful repeatable consumables*, for people to spend their tickets on if they already have all the one-time collectables from that event.

That's to drive crown store ticket sales from FOMO and "Gotta get it all" folks. That's the only reason those mechanics exist. Some folks will spend $75 on the tickets they need to get all three of the 10 ticket morph parts. Indriks are even worse. You need like 60 tickets to get one, and there are like a dozen of them.

      It's absolutely predatory.

Sorry, I love that I can get the indriks I didn't have a chance at earlier for various reasons. I haven't cared anything at all for the rest of the morph stuff, so it's really nice that I can do events I like (not pvp or undaunted) for tickets for indrik bits. I don't want them all (there are some I consider pretty underwhelming), but there's a couple I'm working on (on all three accounts both PC megaservers) and should have complete by the end of this year.

So I really don't want them going away yet. And I don't consider earning tickets through events "predatory".

I'm fine with the current length of the major events that give tickets.

However, I wouldn't mind more minor events that give boosts to 2x exp or 2x mat drops in all zones. Those can be more frequent and should pop up more often.

I just wish we would know in advance when an event was coming. More than just a day or two. Or even that the XP event and Free to Play event were up-coming!

But I get having smaller, "surprise" events... but surely they know when big events (like Witchmother's, Jester's, and New Life) are going to be. Would it be so hard for them to let us know a month or two in advance when the exact dates normal events will be taking place?

I get that I am not necessarily the target audience in that I am simply NOT going to play every day, I'm doing well to log in to progress the daily because there's something in the end of the month that does interest me. There are obviously people more committed, even streamers making a proper living playing games, and I get that a certain amount of novel or rotating content drives that sort of thing, but as for me, I am playing (emphasis on PLAY) to relax, i don't want to be reminded that the powers-that-be would like to encourage players to play it like a job.

I have a job thank you, don't want another one.

In this set up, the infrequency of the events lets me log into an area and play the event as a fun little bonus to playing for a little while and then I can take a break from playing or maybe play something else for a bit. One neat bonus is that it can drive traffic to areas and group bosses that might not be getting as much any more and make it more fun. If it's all-events, all-the-time, it's not an event, it's just, you know, the game.

KMMOs such as Maplestory and Dungeon Fighter Online constantly have events going on, sometimes 4+ at a time, so always stuff happening... The problem is it devalues the rewards in the game and doesn't make events feel special, the way events are now feels special, you know whereabouts they'll come up and when they do you can get lots of nice rewards and for the players who couldn't make it you can sell those style pages and such to them and make a profit, if events constantly ran then it would destroy the player economy + rewards wouldn't feel special.

Also even with the arms pack events, i find myself almost burning out by repeating the same dungeon over and over until I get the style page since I much prefer to do random dungeons than specific ones, but I feel forced to do it while the event's running at least until I pull the style page, and then doing randoms after leads to that dungeon over and over again until it ends, so infrequency there is better.

to something like this I say, 2x exp, yes, because it would take like 16,000 hours to reach level 3600 otherwise. 2x mats? keep those rare, don't destroy the economy.

Having multiple events that last 2 weeks can get a bit tiring, especially if you're actively grinding them. If we were to have more events, I'd prefer if they were smaller.

For example, I love those Battleground Weekend events we sometimes get, where all the BG games for a few days are only of one type. They're fun and break up the monotony for a bit, as well as attracting more PvP players for a few days.

So I'd really like if we got something similar for PvE, Like double drops from some DLC zone daily quests. They would both help with achievement and motif hunting, and also just give people a reason to go back to older zones. When was the last time someone has a reason to do the Wrothgar dailies? A mini event could give good cause to re-enter that frozen rock pit.
