NPCs spawning very slow

Good evening,

I have the issue that NPCs often seem to spawn very slow, both friendly and enemy ones. I can "feel" their collision, so I cannot pass through them, but I can't target, attack, speak or otherwise with them.
This is happening both in cities, but more importantly also while travelling the world.

How this usually looks like is that I'm running around, seeing an ore node for example, but then I'm not able to interact with it, I wait ~10-20 seconds, then I'm usually dead. The life bar is full the whole time usually, or is at least not displaying my correct status.

Players spawn faster, which isn't really helping in this issue, though. I assume they're given loading priority over NPCs.

Connection issues or performance problems from the hardware should not really exist, are there settings with which I can increase the amount of parallel loading objects/NPCs? (Or another solution, of course!)

    I've noticed that some of the quest mobs do have quite a long respawn time. I imagine it'll be fine when the rush of a new game has been and gone, but at the moment it can be a pain having to wait long periods of time to kill a quest mob.

    Same here. Often get sacked by enemies I cannot even see.

    Not respawn, it sounds like some sort of conflict between draw distance and connection speed, which is bizarre. Sort of like the experience when you first load up a char, and you're in a major city, sometimes it looks like a ghost town for a good 10 seconds or so.
    What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?

    Maaaan, you should've seen Matron's Clutch zone in Stonefalls, the mobs spawn so fast we couldn't clear the area to get to the boss!

    Had to bring in 25 soulless thingies to do that.

    I'm pretty sure you don't want that for all the mobs. Better slow than fast. B)
