Three things right now really stand out that I'd love to see considered.. Two are relatively minor/easy things.
First, it'd be great to either have an option or toggle for showing a player's account name vs character name in guild chat and such. It's really kinda sucky as a very RP-focused individual to see
@names all over my guildchat and have no idea what character people are on!
Second, along the same vein, it'd be super great to have a simple box to DISable the compass quest markers.. It kinda makes some of the dungeons much less interesting to explore when being lead along quite so obviously, and being able to toggle that at will would rock.
Thirdly, and this is more of a larger change, but still relatively straightforward in implementation, but I think it'd be something that'd please a lot of people!
I'd LOVE for us to be able to start splitting up populations for RP and non-RP focused individuals. Simply put, give us a check-box or some such that we can opt-in and "flag" ourselves for RP. RP-flagged characters would then be placed into instances of areas with other RP-flagged people, and same for non-RP. It won't be a hard and fast thing, there'll be some mix I imagine to avoid wasting server space, and if there's some overlap or population issues then that would take precedence of course, but just by having us opt-in and be grouped by that classification you'd start to create areas where RP-interested folks can do their thing uninterrupted, and others who don't dig it need not turn off chat or move away from those engaged in such activities.
Considering the nature of the megaservers it just seems like the easiest way to apply some RP/non-RP functionality on a large scale and in an easy way!
