100 kills to 10 kills ? Why?

Why did you lower the achievement? Maybe I miss the point for the reason but why?
Then will you also lower the "God Slayer" achievement? Lets make it 18 player dead still counts for it...
In conjunction with this change, we are also lowering the number of scamps required to kill for the following achievements:

Trove Scamp Slayer has been reduced from 15 kills to 5 kills
Trove Scamp Exterminator has been reduced from 100 kills to 10 kills
Cunning Scamp Slayer has been reduced from 15 kills to 5 kills
Cunning Scamp Exterminator has been reduced from 100 kills to 10 kills

    Reducing the number would be fine if it was down to say 50, but 10 is just taking the Mick out of people who farmed the sewers for months to get 100. Same with Murkmire Prepper, ZoS deliberately made it harder and grindier to get by dropping the number of quests you could pick up per day, now they've just reduced the total.

    Some achievements should still require some effort.

    Your 45 minutes sounds quite reasonable, but reducing a requirement to 10% of it's previous one (scamps) would be more like giving you a couple of hours to get the speed run VSS which is just silly.

    Honest question: Does the reduction of scamps needed make the hours upon hours of fun you had with farming them in sewers less worthwile?

    Honestly they should leave the spawn rate and the achievements alone. They were rare enough already that the improved drops would be extremely unlikely to have any substantial negative effects. A better move would have been to add some more randomness to the spawn locations so they can't be camped.

    Scamps were never rare if you knew how to farm them. There even was a farm guide on the forums that explained how to do that effectively. Essentially you just needed to camp them in one place for 20 real hours - ~16.6 hours to kill 200 scamps + few hours to finish second achevement because yellow scamps spawn more often than red.

    Reducing amount of hours needed is great but I'm still glad I'm done with it

    Another thing of note, we don't actually know how much they reduced the spawn rate by, they very well could have made them ten times more rare, which means it would take the same relative amount of time and effort to actually farm the achivement.

    Until we can get offical numbers or somebody is mad enough to farm up 1K of them on live and tally spawn rates then 1K on pts and tally spawn rates then comapre the two we honestly can't really do much past pointless gesticulating to make things sound oh so terrible or oh so great.
