They're making the message so big you *can't* click their name to ignore or report them.

You do know you can scroll up, or make your chat box bigger, right? I have yet to see any instance where you couldn't scroll up in the chat for any reason.

You can also go into settings - social and reduce the text size so that you can click their name to ignore. But still, The chat box needs to be fixed so that it doesnt skip over names of people who make giant walls of text like that. Then this wouldn't be an issue.

You *can* make the box bigger, but unless you use stupid tiny font, it doesn't work.

I can't read anything below 14. 12 BARELY fits it.

This was a problem with the beta too, in which we found some guy spamming the N word for 20 lines so you couldn't ignore him.

This could also work, but honestly, there is NO reason you need to be able to make a 20 line chat message. Period.

I was honestly surprised there isn't a limited message squelch.

I have had it so that it will not be able to display the whole message in the frame so that when you scroll up it skips to the previous message rather than showing the top of the spam. The solution as below is to make the font tiny. However work arounds to report spam should not be needed.

The current best work-a-round is using the SpamFilter add on at esoui.com... and adding filters... If you grab it, and edit the SpamFilter.lua ... this is my current data at the top for default filter... it auto ignores all current spammers I've seen.
